Cravings

Yes, Ean turned 30 on monday but I haven't gotten the pics off my camera yet and it turned out to be quite the eventful drama filled day even though we stayed home and didn't have a party of any kind.

any way
I have been craving certain foods like crazy!
at first it was Chinese food. I think that was due to the salt. I craved salt like crazy with chasen too

Lately it has been Simply Apple Apple Juice.
I drink so much I buy 2 jugs at a time and I don't even use a glass.
Classy and proper, I know!

Peanut butter. between chasen and I we have to buy the big jar.

Sushi. Which is kinda unfortunate because I can't have any raw fish.
But I can eat the crap out of cucumber avocado rolls, and cream cheese and tofu rolls. and any Tempura roll!

and I eat 4 times a day.
I don't remember being so hungry with Chasen. I guess I only eat toast for breakfast so its not like I eat huge meals but I feel like I eat a lot.

Breakfast sandwiches. and I actually make them at home:)

Starbursts. these help with the nausea.
Yes, I still have it.

That's about all I have for cravings right now.
The baby is sitting pretty low and to the left constantly, I can feel it move on occasion.
My next apt. is next Thursday and we should schedule the ultra sound at that time.
Which only means cute (or alien) photos but no gender reveal. Sorry :(

Oh and baby gets to attend her first college football game at the Hawkeye season opener!

(okay while re reading this i noticed I said her. Guess you know what I think it is!)

Except for Chasen uses it more then Kevin does.

That's a mouth full!

Ean has been working late quite a bit, not geting home until 9pm usually.
and he has been working weekend too :(
This past weekend he had to drive 2 hours just to fix a vent in a roof. The actual job only took 15min but it was the drive that took so long.
So Chasen and I went along and on the way we stopped at this Museum!

we also watched a short 20min movie about dinosaurs it was one of those theaters that shakes your seat and spits water and has fog.
Chasen thought it was cool but was totally freaked out and looking for dinosaurs the rest of the tour! A little on edge:)

he kept that sitcker on his mouth for about an hour before falling asleep, I took it off then about an hour later looked back and he was awake with the sticker on his mouth again! Hey, we weren't commplaining!
it was a really cool place with lots of interactive exhibits.
Chasen even built a boat and got to play with it in the water.
we saw a bever and lots of turtles too!

This weekend I work :(
but.....
Next weekend is
FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!!!
and we have tickets to the first hawk game for Ean's 30th. but shhhhh dont tell him.
Be sure to send him a card or text him and make fun of him for getting so old on Monday!

his next ride were these helicopters which we didn't watch first, I just thought they went in a circle but they went about 20feet up in the air!!!
I thought he might be scared until he peeked out the window at me and gave me a "fums up mom"

he could barely see out!

he did NOT let go for a thumbs up but did say he liked it. and asked "what can I ride next?"

We also got to see a guy make an ice sculpture. I've never seen anyone do that before from start to finish.

Pretty Soon Ill Have 2 Hands to Hold

sometimes he wants to touch the baby and other times not so much. I had to bribe him with MnM's for the pic:)

He gets mad if I lift my shirt up to show him the baby and he will tell me.
Mom I said leave your baby alone or I told you to put your baby away!
I can't wait until my stomach kicks him back!

This morning Ean asked him if he thought it was a boy or gril and he said it was a pirate!

I keep having this reoccurring dream that I'm pregnant with a girl and she comes out, newborn size but dressed in an all white onesie and the softest bald head ever!
I think this is because Ean has convinced me not to find out what we are having and Im so sure its a girl and the only clothes I have to bring her home in are white onesies!

I'm still taking the zofran because if I don't I'm extremely nauseated and i puke.
I figured by 16 weeks I'd be over this :/

I hoping these next few months fly by, football season is fastly approaching!!!!
So that will obviously occupy my mind and time then it will be Halloween, chasen's birthday, thanksgiving, the big Hero's game, my siblings birthdays, Christmas, new years and then we only have a month till baby.
I hope it goes that fast!!
I'm not exactly ready but I'm tired of puking:O

while we were at the fair my bladder was really full and my stomach was hard as a rock (i think for all the walking) and I felt the little stinker move! but I haven't felt it since.
We should be scheduling an ultrasound soon, but wont be finding out what we are having :/ sorry.

Brunch Date

being at home with Chasen has been great!
But sometimes we get board at home and need to venture out!
Some of our favorite places are
Palisades park where we can walk the trails and explore the cedar river
Lake MacBride
Coralvile dam and the fossil rock area where Chasen thinks the fossils are dinosaur bones:)

and the local restaurants and parks
we really like the skillet cafe
we can eat outside and watch the semi's drive by

and they serve pancakes as big as your head!

and chasen loves them and ate 3/4th of it

then we walk to the train bridge and if we are lucky get to watch the train go by right under our feet!

Cousins

Chasen and Garin can fight like cats and dogs but they sure do have fun when they are together!!

did I mention ornery, here they almost run grammie and a kitty over. On purpose!

I was surprised how well chasen could stear and how fast he would go!


of course sometimes they would purposely run into eachother too

Sauerkraut Days

It was sauerkraut days in lisbon last week.
on friday afternoon we went down town to the carnival and the only thing Chasen would ride was the carousel which we could have rode at the mall. oh well


he ate his first funnel cake and mostly just licked the sugar off

wednesday night they had a free movie in the park. Toy Story 3!
we ordered pizza at caseys and made a pizza party out of it:)
It actually got pretty cold out.





we also went down on thursday nigh for the free ice cream and fire works!
we are headed to the iowa state fair so sauerkraut days was just a warm up!

Annul Trip to the Farm

We go to my Grandma Jan's house once a year.
and this year we went there and came home with a 6 horse, horse trailer. For the horses we don't have yet. But we could take our whole mini herd on the road if we wanted to:)

Axtell is out in the middle of nowhere Nebraska right next to Kearney Nebraska.
and when you are out in the middle of nowhere you can run around naked!!
in circles around a dog till it all becomes a blur:)
