Creepy Camping

Every Year Lake Iowa has creepy camping and Trista, Chris and Garin set up their camper and Halloween decorations (along with all the other people camping) and the boys get to trick or treat!
This year the weather was great and we all had a good time!

21 Weeks

Im pretty big for 21 weeks but so is baby!
Im feeling pretty good, can see baby move on the outside which is cool!
I still think its a girl.
Our next apt. is this thursday so we will see if Im measuring big too.
Thats all for now on the baby front.

Guess What?!?

Chasen is 90% potty trained!!!
He hasn't had a pee accident in 2 weeks!
But did have 2 poop accidents :(
I still use diapers at nap time and bed time and outings.
I think next week we might try to go somewhere with big boy pants. I just don't want him to pee in the car seat cause that's a pain to clean.

It's really cute the "ritual" he has.
he yells
Moooom I have to go potty.
takes his pants all the way off
climbs onto the potty.
flushes while still on potty.
closes lid
washes hands
brushes hair and sometimes teeth
then says "I have candy now"


Today he woke up from his nap to use the potty!
I couldn't believe it
Next week he will go to daycare with only big boy pants.
I hope he does okay.

Now just to figure out when and how to take the candy away after he pees...

20 Weeks With Baby Pictures

Half way done!!! (actually over half way but who's counting...)
We had our ultrasound today and baby was measuring a week and 2 days ahead of schedule.
Which I don't think means the due date is off since we know the exact conception date I think it means we may have a BIG baby. Or maybe it will slow down here a little.
Either way now I know why Im so big!
Baby was estimated to weigh 14oz, close to a full pound, from what Ive read a 20 week babe should weigh 10oz.
Guess all the puking isn't affecting anyone but me.

Chasen and Ean both came to the appointment.
Chasen was naughty so when we found out how big baby was I said good maybe it's a boy and he's gonna be big enough to come out and kick your butt.
and chasen just laughed his evil laugh. *sigh*
We have pictures of arms and legs but baby was moving allot and chasen bumped the table so they are a little blurry so I didn't post them.
Oh, and we didnt find out the sex and I didnt have her write it on a piece of paper just for me so I guess we will all be surprised!! :)

Signs of Fall

Gourds and possibly pumpkins!!!

last year when our pumpkins and gourds that we bought and decorated got rotten I smashed them by the fence and look what grew!!!!!

One not so visual sign of fall is that it is 61 degrees in my house right now!
I would turn the heat on but we are leaving for Nebraska soon.
Don't worry we turned on his heated ceiling fan for chasen last night.
Those things are awesome! and you don't have to worry about him burning his little fingers by touching a space heater.
I highly recommend one!

Apples for Maggie

chasen thought it was pretty cool that we had apples in our tree


we walked through the tall grass

and chasen kept falling down.

we walked all the way down to the road but Maggie kept running away.

since Maggie was lame we decided to collect pine cones!

we learned allot about trees today!

of course in true boy fashion we had to use a "tool" to pick them up
later we will decorate the pine cones with glitter....
that should be a mess.
