Memorial Weekend

We spent part of the weekend at home working on our pool and yard then grammie took chasen home with her Saturday night and left us with just dashtyn!
So we went out to eat and were surprised how relaxing it was with just him, i remember being stressed about taking baby chasen.
We went to church with just dashtyn Sunday morning (which again was so easy and quiet) then we headed to north english and hung out at great grandmas for a while before heading to the lake.
Garin fell, surprisingly not Chasen's fault,t and knocked out his tooth, but it was a fake one any way so no need to head to the ER!
after some Popsicles we were off to the lake and left Grammie with Dashtyn and Kevin!

fighting over a raft that was to small for either of them any way! They fight then hug then fight and cry and hug and yell at each other and fight and hug.... its a vicious cycle

dont be fooled hes not trying to kiss him more like yell in his ear or something!

4 Months Old

He is my quiet timid boy
he still doesn't laugh... has a great smile and squeal, but not laugh
has a quite and persistent cry, rarely screams
and he recently scares easily
and is such a mamas boy
and I love it for the most part, sometimes Id like a break but he just wants mama :)

and you could throw him in the air and he'd laugh and laugh
the first time he laughed was because he was getting "yelled at" check it out here

to this day, this second he is still loud and fierce. Every emotion he has is to the n(th) degree there is no calm in him. And I love him for it!

 But not Dashtyn, he is so calm. Sure he cries but I dont have one picture of him looking like the ones of chasen above.

I lifted him up in the air today above my head and he got so so scared, didnt scream but his little chin shook then he cried.

It was super cute and really hard not to scare him again.

He loves to be held and talked to in a quiet voice

Im so excited to watch this little baby grow into a boy just like his brother has, Im assuming he will be a little more reserve, shy but the sneaky kind of naughty which is worse then Chasen's all out full force naughty. At least I know where he is and what he is doing!!

This weekend is Dashtyn's baptism and then his 4mo check up is on monday I guessing 18lbs... maybe more

Crawfish Boil

so its taken me a while to post... but last weekend after the zoo on friday, that saturday we enjoyed our first crawcish boil!!

complete with jumpy house!! Chasen had a blast wrestling with the boys below. calling them "red shirt and black shirt" lol I told him to ask them their names

took him almost an hour to get up the courage to pick one up!

then he threw it in the pot

learning how to eat the craw fish, its a lot of work for a lil bit, but oh so good!

Cake and Pinata

after the zoo we went back to lisa's for naps, water fights and margaritas until it was dinner time

Birthdays

We (the boys and myself) left thrusday afternoon in the big dually truck (the only vehicle with working air.) and headed to nebraska for Lily and Lisa's birthday festivities!

on the way there driving a HUGE truck I have never driven Chasen opens his door while Im going down I80 at 75mph.

 Friday morning we joined my family on the annual zoo birthday party for Lisa (49) and Lily(7) this is the 3rd year they have gone and our first
