Christmas at Grandmas

so we left for Nebraska Sunday morning after doing our Christmas and taking Dash to urgent care.
We got to my mom's and me and dash relaxed inside while chasen got to play outside in the snow

  after playing in the snow it was dinner time!

we had pancakes, hot chocolate and the four food groups for elf's

candy corn, candy canes, syrup and sugar!

 

 chasen loved playing I Spy santa while we watched Elf

 Jackson got off work late so we couldn't open gifts until the morning

but Dashtyn went A-Wall and screamed and cried from 10:30PM until 2am and then was up again at 4am and again at 7am. NOT FUN for anyone :(
but we woke up around 7am on Christmas eve and opened gifts as a family

 my mom got what she wanted for christmas a phone attachment for her cell phone so she can be "hands free" and so she can be on the Internet while talking.

who would have thought you would need a phone for your phone.

Chasne had no idea what that "thing" was :)

Then we got dressed and were off to Lincoln for Christmas with the Maxwell Family!

11 Months and the Eve of the New Year

Here is our sweet little 11 month old, such a little squirt

He is walking more, he will walk across the room if its something he really wants.

But he still prefers to crawl

or even climb





He talking some mostly mama, dada, baa.

his favorite is to say Hiiiii any time anyone, even Kevin, walks into the room

and he has started to wave at people everywhere

He smiles all the time but

recently his smiles can turn to screams as he has figured out the screaming gets him what he wants

He loves hanging with the boys.

Chasen and Ean went out to do goat chores and dash cried the whole time cause he wanted to be with them

 and just for fun lets look at what we were doing last year on this day.....

so hard to believe it has been a year

can't wait for 2013 Im sure it will be filled with chaos and love :)



Twas The Night Before Our Christmas at Home

And all through the home

all the animals were stirring

they didn't want to be left at home alone

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care

while Dashtyn pulled the hat off his hair...

okay that's all I got!

so we did our Christmas on Sunday morning, the 23rd

the night before we loaded up in the car with hot chocolate, cookies and a blanket fresh out of the dryer and looked at Christmas lights

 When we got home we set out goodies for santa and it was off to bed

  Dahstyn had actually been running a low grade fever all day and after our Christmas in the morning we were leaving for Nebraska so I decided that if he woke in the middle of the night and had a fever we would go to urgent care after our Christmas at home. Well, he woke up at 4am screaming and had a 100.5 fever :( I rocked him and he was asleep again by about 5am and up again at 6:30am..... We were the first ones down the stairs to see what Santa had brought!

 Kevin was so excited about his bone

he couldn't even wait for dad to get the plastic off

we had breakfast and then it was off to urgent care for my babies first Christmas.

just and ear infection, so we were on our way to Nebraska!

On Christmas Eve, I said: Yes!

Kevin

Kevin had been having a lot more seizures so I took him to a specialist and we have got him on new meds that he takes 3 times a day (good thing I stay home) and he hasn't had a seizure since and he is acting normal, more peppy!! He is just the best dog ever!!

we love him...

and he loves us

even yawns through wrestling matches ;)
