We did our Christmas on the Friday before since, as you will see, we were alllll over for Christmas!
We had a nice meal
With Those little gifts that pop like a firecracker when they open
Each gift had a crown, joke, charade and a little trinket of sorts. I got a yo yo that Chasen loved!
Then we loaded up in the car With hot chocolate, a bunch of goodies we had made and headed to Fairfax to look at a larger light display. we usually Just go to mt vernon
Dashtyn fell asleep on the way, we woke him but he was crabby (That was his Christmas theme)
It was the first time we had been to a light display to music annnnd santa was there too!
We drove around a little more before heading home.
The boys wanted to be rock stars and ware their sunglasses
The plan was that the boys would fall asleep on the ride home....but as plans go they were wide awake!
We put out cookies for Santa and chasen really wanted to leave something for the reindeer and the only thing i had since we were leaving for a week was kale so He counted out a Piece for each reindeer. I asked Chasen If we should put the kale outside and he said in a i-know-it-all tone "santa will take it to them!"
They finally fell asleep after an Hour and then ean and i spent a good 2hrs assembling everything!!!!
Last year Chasen woke us Up by telling us everything Santa had put in his stocking :( so this year I told him he had to come get Us first or id throw it all away!
I heard him get out of bed at 6am so Got up and Went down the other Stairs and saw him standing there with his mouth wide open :) I sent him up to get dad and dashtyn,
Here is crabby dash ... NOT a morning person.
Dashtyn ran over to his motorcycle all excited and then realized he was excited and immediately went back to pouting -- he is very dramatic--
He is also very rotten and tried to run over the 100 army Guys santa set up
But he has the sweetest smile

Chasen read the names and handed Out our gifts
he even snuck a package under the tree for me and ean. I always unpack his back pack when he gets home so he hid it in his coat and put it under the tree when i wasn't looking
we got the boys a track carpet and i think it might stay down stairs as they like to run around the house in a circle
i got ean some shirts and a canvas of a picture from our favorite vacation
where he got me this beautiful necklace id never seen one with diamonds on the chain!
and the boys played, some naked, all morning and fought over new toys most the time :)ahhhh kids!
daddy makes us Tree, santa and star shaped pancakes and bacon for Christmas
then we got dressed and loaded up for the seaba Christmas
