Happy Cinco de Mayo

I will have a pina colada today even if it is virgin all though I reall ylike tequila I will have to sit this cinco de mayo out :(
So my uterus has moved up into the abdomen area because my pants that sit right below or on my hips are falling down and they used to be really tight. I think I need one of those belly wrap things I saw in a magazine, it holds your pants in place. I have a noticeable bump ( I will take a pic soon promise) but it just kinda looks like Im fat lol.
I had my first encounter with people touching my belly. A lady that I work with who only come around about twice a month came today and completely rubbed my belly, it was really kinda weird, but I think once you have kids of your won you get so excited for other people because you know what they are going through, it didn't bother me it was just weird!
On Wed. I will be 3 1/2 months!!
I have noticed a change in my skin, I burn really easy, but thank god it turns to a tan still and doesn't peel. I was out in the sun yesterday, kevin and I walked all over mt.vernon to chalk the walk, cornell campus, on the trail, and back to the car and I got burnt!! Never before would I have burnt like that. I also forgot I was sharing my water suply and got a little dehydrated and had a bad headache last night.
The morning sickness has gone away, I think (knock on wood) and I have gotten some of my energy back!!!

At 152bpm thats our baby's heart beat!!
Ean and I got to hear the heart beat yesterday, it was really cool!
Other then that there really isnt much news to report. The morning sickness is still hanging around, not as bad but it isnt gone. I've lost 2lbs as a result.
My blood type is positive which means I dont have to worry about the Rh factor and having all those shots!! woo hoo :)
Im getting really anxious to meet this little tadpole and I have 6 months to go, but as you all tell me..it will go by fast. But I just can't wait till I can feel it moving!!

yes thats right, I have been out of order for a while.
This whole morning, noon and night sickness really sucks...and its not food that makes me sick its SMELLS I feel like I have a super human power, I can smell things NO ONE can. And its really frusturating especially when its at my house and I get sick when I walk in the door. Ean and Joellyn dont smell anything so atleast to the normal nose its ok.
Other then being sick I dont really feel pregnant, but I am 10 1/2 weeks along!!
We have our next apt. on april 28th and we get to hear the heart beat!

Ean told me that the baby told him a joke last night....here it is:
BABY: Dad you should get a miniature donkey.
Ean: Why?
BABY: So that when you tell mom she has a small ass your not lying.
ahhh hahaha.

So Im reading my week-by-week pregnancy book and have come to the part about all the things that can go wrong and all the defects my baby could have. I have chose not to read this section because I really don't need any more things to worry about.
We are keeping the baby regardless of down syndrome, 3 arms or any other abnormality. Yes it might be nice to know so we can plan ahead..but I don't want that to be the focus of my pregnancy I want to just focus on being happy and having a baby. How accurate are those tests any way?
We have also decided to not find out the sex because I have known to many people who have been told wrong and have all blue or all pink and have to buy all new stuff. We will just stay neutral then we can gradually add pink or blue to the wardrobe.
So in other words all we care about is the fact that we are having a baby...and its gonna be a baby we love no matter how it comes out.
Now if we could test to see if it will have my sassyness then by all means yes...Ean says he hopes it doesnt have my mood. Apparently I have been a little hormonal:)

IM PREGNANT!!

So I took a pregnancy test Thursday morning and it was POSITIVE!!
My reaction was complete shock more like "Oh Shit!" Because Ean and I had just discussed that we would wait a couple months because I don't qualify for maternity leave until DEC. 3rd.
So I ran out of the bathroom and chugged 1/4 gallon of water so I could generate enough pee to pee on the 2nd stick before work....just to make sure.
I got in the shower and still hadn't told Ean.
Got out of the shower fixed my hair....looked at the test about 10 times to see if it had changed lol.
Then I peed on the second stick ..which was also positive.
So I asked Ean to come in the bathroom and handed him both sticks and he looked at them and said "are you serious" with a big smile on his face.
So here we are!! I told Ean it was just our luck that we got pregnant now and will be due Nov 8th-ish just soon enough that I can't have maternity leave.
Obviously we are super excited ....its just funny how things work out.
My OB apt is march 24th and by then i will be 7 weeks and 5 days along so we should be able to hear the heart beat.
So far I only feel nauseous but haven't thrown up...its weird though that certain foods randomly will just make me want to vomit. I am able to eat mexican food and that is great!!! But cheseburgers and fries...not so much, which is my staple food.
Im super tired...like this unexplainable tired...all the time...I hope that goes away soon......
I bought another brand of pregnancy tests on Friday and it was positive too:)
Other then that I don't really feel pregnant and its weird to tell people (my drinking buddies for now) because it doesn't feel like I am.
We are going to tell my family on the 17th and Eans family this weekend!!
