Another day with the Caskeys

So Valentines day started off as any other sat. morning....a photo shoot with Chasen :)in his goat ears hat lol




Then he took a nap then he woke up and screamed and coughed for 30min so i took him to the Dr. he didn't have RSV but an upper rep. infection so he is on a nebulizer, which seems to be doing nothing...so who knows.
we left for the Dr in a big hurry and I forgot to take the cookies off our bed and to the kitchen so I came home from the Dr. to this

Then Ean and I went to a Hawkeye basketball game with Brad and Abby, they threw the game away in the last 5min. Very disappointing. But we had fun! I had never been to a bball game and the last time ean went he was in boy scouts lol.
Then we went out for sushi with brad and Abby.
Ean and I had never had sushi before so we were kinda nervous but it was really really good! So I think I will be eating more of it :)
all and all it was a good valentines day!


This morning I woke up with a horrible sore throat :/ hopefully it doesn't develop into anything to serious.

Also, I think we have bats in our walls, we keep hearing squeaking and we can't find them any where, its really weird and kinda creepy but I guess that's what you get in a old farm house.
Well Im off to do some major cleaning.......{sigh} :/
anyone wanna be my maid..........for free????----didnt think so. :)

RSV at daycare
Pneumonia at my work
so far Chasen just has a cough, no fever and he is acting normal and eating normal...he at 9oz in one hour at daycare yesterday!! holy piggy!

Grammie JoJo is here tonight to have a date with her lil man so Ean and I are gonna go out!
I got free tickets to the hawkeye bball game so we are going to that with brad and abby and then out to eat!
I wanted to take Chasen to the bball game but it would be to long for him :(
He should be ready by football season though!
well Im off to snuggle with my littlest valentine!

I've got all my sister's and brothers, cousins, aunts, parents, grandparents, uncles, in laws, husband with me!

Its funny how once you get older your family becomes your friends and the people you want to go out with, probably cause we are all so much alike and sooooooo much fun!!!

Chasen laughed out loud for the first time on Sunday night!
my heart absolutely melted, it was so amazing to hear his excitement instead of just seeing it (i still love his smile though)
of course i go to get it on video and all you get is 2 min worth of ean and I acting like fools :)I'm sure you would love to see but I'm sorry I deleted it.
But Im working on getting it on video so be on stand by :)

I went for a run today after work....It was 60 some degrees out, I couldn't resist!
2 miles at a 9 minute mile pace...not bad since I haven't ran in 18 months!!
Ean also went for a run....great minds think alike...whats crazy is we both wore the same cornell shirt and green shorts....
any way off to take care of screaming Chasen.
RSV is going around daycare...I hope its just a fussy spell and hes not sick :/

Chasen has now found his hands and loves to suck on them he has also figured out what his hands are for and uses them all the time....this means the dogs and cats are no longer safe!!!

in other news I have went to the chiro twice now and my back feels wonderful!!!
Im less crabby because Im getting sleep!
Chasen slept through the night last night and wed night, which were both my nights lol and then Thursday was eans night and he got up at 3am hehehee.
But Chasen naps every night with ean.......

and the cats!

3 month birthday!

Today is Chasen's 3 month birthday!!
wow has it flown by, the months have flown by....some of the nights drag on :)
But they say the colic fades at 3 months and last night he came home slept for 2 hours woke up ate played fell asleep watching tv with dad for about 20min ate again and went to bed happy as a clam:) only woke up once at 3:30 then we got him up at 7:30 this morning! so maybe 3 months is the magic # we will see tonight.

This weekend was the baby shower in nebraska thrown by my wonderful sis who came up with some good games...I liked the one where they had to draw a pic of a baby on a paper plate on top of their head!

We had margaritas and bread sticks from olive garden...yummy!
Chasen got some really cool stuff including some super cute outfits, Noah's ark coat rack that i really wanted and foot stool, a onesie that says "my brother has four paws" and several other things!



well i started this post an hour or so ago and now its 7:45 and Chasen is being good!! no constant screaming!!!
Just constant playing :)
