His 2 year old stats are
30lbs
and 3 feet tall
still a solid little guy!
he is physically and mentally on track if not slightly ahead of the norm.
He uses pronouns correctly and is aware that all things have a place
cats outside
moon- up in sky
he is always asking where people are.
where grama?
where dada?
where jaxie?
and I think he is starting to realize that everyone has their own home.
that might be a tough concept to grasp just yet.
The Sunday after his birthday when my mom and siblings left he cried and cried and said "my jaxie" we sat on the porch and I explained to him that grama and lissy had to go home and work like mama and dada do and that jaxie had to go to school just like he does.
He stopped crying and sat there with a smug mug and got up and started walking down the driveway.
I followed him and asked him where he was going and he said
my grama.
he walked all the way to the end of the driveway then took a left, just like grama did and kept walking.
I asked again where are you going and he said
To my grama! in a pouty/demanding voice.
I finally picked him up and said that we would see them again soon.
he wasn't to happy about that.
He has started to talk in pretty good phrases but recently has developed a terminal stutter that is hilarious.
here is an example
light t t t
cars s s s
and sometimes there will be a long pause after one like;
truck k k k k
it reminds me of Brick off the tv show the middle.
he repeats the last sound (only sometimes) and i think its because he used to say ligh without the t so we would say to him "light t t "
its really funny and we try not to laugh at him so that we dont encourage it but its hard not to!
Potty training....isnt really going anywhere, but I can say we havent really tried to hard.

He usualy refuses to sit on it, or sits on it with his pants on!
tonight he asked to open his train and I said that was a train he could have when he used the potty like a big boy so he went halfway down the stairs and I waited a min then asked him what he was doing and he said
"I poopin'"
well, that's not exactly what I meant lol
He has become OBSESSED with his train table and he wont eat.
Im 1 for 3 this week.
one night he sat down and ate applesauce.
at least he eats lunch! and has started to eat breakfast!
he comes home and wants to go straight upstairs.
"are you coming mama!?"
"lets play trains"
"mooooom come on, lets go"
chasen you need to eat first
"no! I dont like it"
"mooom I neee light t t t"
Ean and I decided that as long as all the other doors are closed upstairs that he can play in the "train room" alone. He is really good at going up and down the stairs, he just needs us to turn the light on.
I do check on him every 10min or so.
I miss my baby but its so much fun to have conversations with him!
I can't wait for christmas with him, its gonna be so much fun!
Thanksgiving....well, hes gotta learn to eat first:)
