Exhausted

You would think being at home all weekend would be relaxing.
but 3 people with 3 or more meals at home create alto of dishes and as soon as I clean one thing up Ean and Chasen mess up another!

But the most exhausting was today.
We went to church, that's always tough with Chasen. He wasn't awful but definitely a hand full.
Then we went out to eat at CiCi's pizza. Chasen jumped in the booth the whole time yelling "there's sponge bob" (there was a man who looked pretty similar to my uncle Bob and Chasen likes to call him sponge bob)
Then we went to lowes to get paint because...
EAN FINISHED THE ELECTRICAL AND PATCHING THE WALLS IN OUR BEDROOM!!!!!
and by that time it was nap time and Chasen was screaming his way through the store.
If you want to pick paint colors in a hurry take a toddler with you. At least I have had about a year to mull over paint colors so I knew what I wanted.
Then we got home and chasen was asleep so I decided I would unload the car.
well,
I walked in the door and Kevin started having a seizure. Ean came in and saw us both on the floor and helped hold him while I went to get chasen.
Thank God Chase stayed asleep.
Well one seizure turned into 2 which is pretty normal. He hasn't had one in about 2 months so I wasnt to worried. That one ended and Ean went upstairs to start painting.
Kevin was panting pretty good but he had definitely came out of the seizure but then he tried to stand up and started seizing again so I yelled for Ean and he came downstairs. We were debating weather we should take him to the ER Vet Clinic or not.
Its really expensive and frustrating because usually by the time we get there he isn't doing anything abnormal. So we waited for it to end.
It ended he came out of it and was a lil shaky but okay, then he tried to stand again and started seizing for a 4th time. this had been going on for an hour and 15min so I decided it was time to call and take him in. I cleared out the back of the suburban, Ean carried Kev to the suburban while I grabbed Chasen and off we went.
I rode in the back with Kevin, he didn't seize anymore but was having tremors.
Ean carried him straight back to procedure room and they monitored him there for a while. Actually we were there with chasen for 2 1/2 hours, which was pure hell!! thank god I keep toys in the car, but even that got old after about an hour.
He kept asking for his "tevy" finally they came back and told us that we need to start him on an anti seizure med for the rest of his life. he will have to get his blood checked once a month or so, i dont remember gotta call the Doc. in the morning.
Oh, and to top it all off, we got out to the suburban and had left one of hte doors ajar so it was dead and someone had to help us jump it!
ahhh!!
Kevin is acting completely normal now so that's good!! I just hope this medicine isn't awful for him:( poor Kevy.
so, maybe someday we will have our own bedroom. But not this week!
Here are a few new phrases chasen likes to say.
"I wanna talk to you sumpting"
"I Don't know"
"You love me!"
"Lets play shootball(football)" "you stand right here" "blue 32" then he has you pitch the ball to him and he runs around the house until he yells "touch down" or falls and says "ahhhhh got tackled"
He has also picked up his old habbit of lining up the shoes.
and the calf is doing good!

it was a good weekend though just didn't have a good ending.
Time to go snuggle in bed with Kevey:)

Date Night

Tonight all three of us went on a date to the bijou theater in mount vernon!
We saw the chronicles of narnia!
Its a small theater about 1/4th the size of a regular theater!
Chasen got in free and out tickets were $4. You bring your own containers for popcorn and pop and you get if half off!
Chasen did a really good job manning the popcorn. after about an hour he got antsy and we had to get some skittles!
I think he would really enjoy an animated movie like toy story or something!
we will definitely be going back:)

Christmas #4

This past weekend, on New years Day, we celebrated Christmas with The Caskey's!

The boys had a great time and even though they got exactly the same toy's they still fought over which was "mine"
At times I found myself just watching them fight and yell at each other over stuff instead of intervening because I never get to see Chasen act that way lol.
we got Garin a race car that he can paint himself!!

we also went over to great grandmas to do christmas with her!

New Life

We just had a baby calf.
Ean got home from work and decided he better go check and she had just had it.
He called me and Chasen and I brought a towel to dry it off!
She had probably only had him 10 min before we got out there! It looks healthy hasn't stod yet, but just had its first poop!



we dont know if its a boy or girl so we dont have a name yet
But, Ill keep ya posted!

Winter Wonder.....

Where it went?!
We came home last Sunday to a Winter wonderland.
There wasn't any snow on the ground in Nebraska, but there was at home!





Now all that snow is gone and its just brown out.
But the sun has been shining the last couple of days and that has me happy.
This winter has been not as harsh at the last 3.
I hope I didnt speak to soon!!
Chasen and I stayed home yesterday and we got to play outside for almost 2 hours!
we picked up sticks
shot baskets
















and chased the goats and cows around!
and stepped in poop! before this video he was making the puke sound when he stepped in the poop

He also drove his Jeep,
which he is really bad at driving because he doesn't get the concept of steering it lol

In the morning I had to go to the U of I and get some blood work done.
we were there for 2 1/2 hours because I had to do a 2 hour glucose test.
I was nervous to hold Chasen on my lap while they filled 4 vials of blood, but he did good!
I though he might try to touch it, but he was just happy it wasn't him, when she started to poke me he started whining and I told him just mommy was getting poked not him. and he was happy with that!
we just stayed in the hosp. for the 2 hours because I didn't want to loose my good parking spot!
We walked around allot, looked at the piano that plays its self, rode the elevator and escalator and sat in the main lobby and played trucks.
He did really good until it was time to go back upstairs then we got off the elevator and he just laid on the floor, we were about 15min early so I just let him lay there as people walked by and made comments, after 15min I picked him up and told him it was time to go and he screamed bloody murder, and I couldn't make him stop.
We checked in got to the waiting room and he was being okay, then he decided he wanted his animal crackers, but then he didn't want them(he does this all the time, its an independence control thing) and threw them on the floor spilling them so i picked them up and the almost full bag and threw it all away!

I don't know any of the results and honestly they don't really matter.
They are just testing certain hormones during my cycle to confirm that I do have PCOS.
We will go in sometime between this Friday and next Friday for the IUI.
Im getting really excited and I hope Im not let down ;(

Good Bye 2010

Hello 2011!
I don't make resolutions so I dont have much to write about but we went out last night with Amy and Dan in Clarence, IA and had a great time!



I think this is the 3rd New Year I have rung in with Ames!! :)

The only thing I hope for in the new year is a new baby!
and thats about the only expectation I have :)

Chasen was at Grammies for New Years and believe it or not he was awake to ring in the new year with Grammie!
