When It Was Warm

Just a week ago it was in the 60's to 70's now it damp, cold 50's, snow, cloudy YUCK!
I even got a little bit of a tan last week because we were outside so much.
We hauled 8 wheel barrels full of brush to the burn pile, dug a raised garden bed, played baseball
worked on the Jeep.
Chasen hasn't figured out how to steer it yet so when it doesn't go the way he wants it to he gets out and checks under the hood to fix it.

Then when daddy came home we checked out the frogs in our water hole

relaxed
ate applesauce

relaxed some more

and rode maggie

ahh yes, those were the days.....
back when I was 26, young and vibrant
now Im 27 and the days are cold and dark and I just want to sleep.....

Hockey

Last Wed. we took Chasen to a Rough Riders Hockey game and he loved it

I got us tickets right on the glass and when the players would bang into it Chasen would gasp, like it scared him and then smile and hit the glass lol

of course there was popcorn

And he got another hockey puck!

Im behind

It has been so nice out that I have spent every spare second cleaning up outside and making a raised bed garden.

But right now Im tired so I thought I would add the pictures from our trip to nebraska 2 weekends ago.

We got there friday after leaving kansas and went to Jackson's basball game on saturday morning


Then most of my family came back to my moms and we celebrated my birthday

and palyed outside.

It was warm but really windy

Sunday morning chasen opened up an Easter basket

Then we went to church and then to the park!

Then it was time to hit the road after stoping at Lisa's to get the dump trailor and then changing a flat tire -- thank God it happened there and not the interstate.
and these 2 slept most of the time

Football Season!
I don't know why but I have been ready for football season lately.

Im just so excited for that big game the day after thanksgiving!!!


So excited that I dreamt about it last night.

IA vs NE at half time they were tied 8-8 (weird, random)
and NE won 30-9 (again, weird, random)

April Fool's with the Zuccarelli's

Last weekend we went home to Nebraska but before we went there we went to Kansas!
It was on Thursday and Ean had bought a dump truck in Kansas so we decided to stay with Britton and Jordan that night and hang out for half the day on Friday!
we decided to take the boys to the park while Ean was getting the trailer hooked up


When we got back from the park Britton brought it to my attention that it was April fools day and Jordan told me I should fool Ean. So I did!

I called Ean and he didn't answer so I text him and said "call me soon"
He called in about 10min and he said he was on his way. I said "okay, well we went to the park and Chasen fell off the swing and I think he broke his arm. You're gonna want to meet us at the hospital, here is Britton to give you directions."
and Britton said "APRIL FOOLS" and gave me the phone back and all Ean said was
"I can't talk to you right now" and hung up.
I was freaking out for the next 5 min before he called back and said he had the trailor on his truck and was trying to pull into a gas station and almost hit something and that's why he let me go.
I was scared he was mad about my April Fool but he admitted it was a pretty good one!

Then we were on our way to Nebraska. It was a short trip but so good to see them!

Kevin puts up with alot on our road trips!

Date Night With a Toddler

I had a coupon for my birthday for a free entree at Atlas so we went on Monday after swimming lessons!
Ean was able to come watch Chasen at swim lessons and the whole time Chasen was yelling
"daaaada come here" "Daaaaaadaaa" "Eeeeeean come here"

We skipped lessons on Wednesday to go to a hockey game, which Chasen absolutely loved and I will post pics about later.

Monday is our last day of swimming lessons.
And we have injection teaching at the hospitol in the morning.
I got my insurance card in the mail so I officially know that I have coverage, that doesn't cover infertility, but will cover me should I end up pregnant!
And saturday I turn 27.
27 just doesn't sound fun, sounds old. :)
