Baby's First Concert

while I was in Nebraska I went to the red sky music festival with my family and we saw BTE (Better Than Ezra)
It was a great concert despite the 110 degree heat.
I almost didn't go but I was only out in the hotness for about 2 hours and was actually in the shade.

Baby is 12 weeks today. Im still sick when I dont take my meds but other then that nothing new to report!!

A Busy 2 Weeks!

13 day's ago we stared a whirlwind of travels and visitors.
On Friday the 8th we left for Kansas, Ean and Jordan were headed to a concert.
Britton and Jordan had just moved into a new house so on sat we (I laid around with the kids) built a fence and unpacked a little. It was great to see them and their new house, not sure when we will get to visit them again as Britton is super busy with residency :(
Then on Sunday we got home around 8pm and my mom arrived shortly after. She came down to watch chasen for me on the day I worked since day care was closed.
She also cleaned and cleaned my house THANK YOU MOM!!! I also had my Dr. apt while she was here and that's when I go my meds so now I can clean my own house:)
Mom was supposed to leave on Wed or was it Thursday? Alone.
But, I found out that I had to work Thur fri sat and didn't have a sitter for Friday so my mom took Chasen with her!
I worked 3 days in a row which was harder then I thought.
Yes I know most people work 5 days but despite the fact that I work 3rd shift I'm not on that sleep schedule I just gut it out for a day or two. So I was very tired which made me queasy!
I had already planned to go to Neb on Monday for a concert so my grandparents who were on their way back from a wedding in ILL swung by and picked me up and took me to Omaha! Where I met up with my long lost snot nosed baby:)

Ean drove down Tuesday and went to a concert with my siblings and we left this morning landing us home around noon today!
I work tomorrow then we have a wedding this weekend then I think we are gonna hang out here for a while!

"The Lake"

A few day's after the 4th of July we went to Ean's Aunt and Uncles lake house for the afternoon.
an afternoon frilled with swimming, food, chocolate fountains, boat rides, tubing and baseball



oh and wrestling


and peeing outside was also on the agenda

Here is a video of Chasen swimming. He figured out how to stay up right in his life jacket. It was so cute! His little head just bobbing around.

Here is the baby at 6 weeks

We had our 10 week appointment on Monday and Ill admit I was very nervous that we had lost the little tadpole. Not because I had any spotting or cramping.
But because I have been so sick, not eating well not keeping vitamins down. And Ive had constant left lower quadrant pain.
So we went to the appointment and it took her FOREVER to find the heart beat.
The look on Ean's face almost made me cry.
I don't think Ive ever see him so worried.
But she found it and it was the best sound either of us had ever heard and I think she could tell we were worried cause she let us listen for longer then normal.
Then she told me that she would write me a script for zofran to help with the nausea.
I didn't fill the script until Wed and wish I would have done it 4 weeks ago!!!!
IT WORKS!!
but it cost $135 what the hell!!!!! and that's only a week's worth.
But it is so worth it. I feel like a living thriving human again!
a pregnant human who at 10 weeks pregnant is as big as she was at 14 weeks with Chasen.

Lake MacBride

Chasen and I went to the lake on tuesday just for something to do and he loved it!
He listened really well when I told him he couldn't go out any farther. And I was able to sit on the bank and relax while he played!

I also took him out into the water and tried to get him to float on his own but he kept flipping over in the life jacket.

Then yesterday we went to Uncle Daves lake and Chasen got to ride on a boat!!

we went to a parade with Ean's family on sunday and the boy's had a lot of fun.
Then my dad and brother came down on monday and we went to a water ski show and watched fire works!
