Uh Oh...

Today I was able to organize one of our closets because Ean added shelves!!!
I moved out a bunch of baby clothes and toys into Chasen's room.
I asked Chasen to come help me with the toys because I knew he would like it.

So after a few minutes of moving toys into him and babies room.
(I actually call it the nursery and then the room across the hall is the toy/toddler room)
any way

Chasen says: why are we putting baby toy's in my room?
ME: because you and baby are going to share a room
Chasen: But I dont want the baby in my room
ME: well, then you could move into the big boy room with all your choo choo's!
Chasen: No, I think it's time for baby to go back home and have dinner.
ME:...........(sigh)............

24 Weeks and 5 Days. 107 Days To GO

But really whose counting?

in case you haven't heard this baby is more of a trouble maker then Chasen ever was (in the womb that is)
Little, sweet unborn baby is actually almost worse then its trouble maker brother is as a toddler.

I'm still taking the zofran for nausea if I don't I dry-heave all morning and that aggravates my back situation.

Im having trouble carrying this little stinker (thank goodness I didn't have twins)
My back has been KILLING me for about 3 or 4 days now, partially due to pregnancy and partially due to lifting Chasen.
Yesterday I tried to leave the house to go to a meeting at work and I couldn't bend to get into the car.
I don't know why I tried I hadn't been able to move for 2 days and was having Chasen pick stuff up off the floor for me.
And it took me 15min to get out of bed.
I should have known.
So I finally went to the Chiro yesterday which helped a little. After I heated my back up I was able to get in the car and after the appointment I was able to walk with out pain and without looking like a hunched over Granny.
I went back again today and it's getting easier to go from sitting to standing but bending over is still not an option.
But at least I can walk!
Right now I'm trying to decided if I go to work tonight or take tonight off so I know I'm better and able to go tomorrow...

Despite all the complaining I am ready for baby to be hear in the flesh and I am really excited.
I got out all the bottles and bib's and breast feeding pump and all its 1,000 parts.
I forgot how much stuff there is!!!
And have been rearranging the kitchen so I can fit it all in a place where I want it.
I moved all of Chasen's cups plats and such to the bottom cupboards so he can get them himself!

My mom, sister and aunt are coming down next weekend to paint Chasen's new room and move his clothes and toy's out of his current room to make room for the crib and baby toys/clothes.
I don't think Chasen will actually move his bed and himself into his new room until baby is bigger. There is enough room for both of them in that room right now so Im just gonna kinda let Chasen decided when he wants to move to his "big boy" room.

Meanwhile I'm praying the next 107 days go fast or atleast become pain free!!

Bloomsbury Farms

This past weekend we went to a pumpkin farm with Grammie!


He actually jumped on the jumping pillow and had fun until he fell and a kid jumped on his back :(


He also made his own smore then just ate the marshmellow out of the middle







we were there for a few hours and had a really good time.
Now to find time to carve our pumpkins!!

Riding the Hawk Train

Chasen has his first ear infection since he got his tubes over a year ago!
He had been having a runny nose and cough and then started to say his ear hurt and after bath one night I noticed puss coming out of it so we went to the DR. and he got some drops.
Which he HATES to have me put in. But its getting better.
We hadn't been to the DR since his 2 year check up. we almost made it to the 3 year!

This weekend despite the ear infection we took Chasen to tailgate and ride the hawk train! He had a blast.
And was a little to excited:)

We went and walked around the stadium after tailgating with our friends!
Chasen did an awesome job. I put a diaper on him because I wasn't about to attempt the port-a potty with him but he refused to pee in it so daddy helped him pee outside like all the big boys do *sigh*







This weekend was also my 5 year reunion at Cornell. I didn't get to go hang out Friday night when the actual "reunion" was but we went up town Saturday night and I got to see "the usual" crowd of friends that I see each year at homecoming and various Phi O events. It was really good to hang out with some girlfriends for a couple of hours!

Sunday daddy and Chasne got up around 7:30 and let mommy sleep in till 9.
I needed it, bad. My back has been hurting something awful and still is :(
Im hoping some more rest will help.

23 Week Random Update

These were the only pumpkins I got from all those blooming vines

But...

I do have lots of gourds growing!

and today Chasen and I painted glitter on our pine cones. But I think I need bigger flecks of glitter it doesnt show up very well.



Sunday marked 23 weeks in this pregnancy.
and baby is on the move
It's big and it's strong!
Today Chasen and I were singing songs and when we would stop or pause baby would kick like crazy.
You can really see it move on the outside now and baby has turned so that its arms and legs are facing out instead of in towards my inner organs which I appreciate.
Im starting to get boy vibes, but Im still thinking girl.... time will tell I guess.

Quiet

I've been feeling quiet lately
We haven't done anything to exciting I guess!
Just enjoying this warm fall weather and the pretty trees that seem to be on fire!
Running errands for Ean and helping him with some paper work.
we are trying to decided if I should quit my job and work for him after baby comes...
Chasen is learning his letters. He can now pick out/identify P, C, D and M!
Baby is growing and kicking. And causing me allot of back pain.
Still trying to organize the closets up stairs to make room for baby.
Not impressed with the Hawkeye or Husker football teams. Mostly the Huskers after their debut in the B1G 10. How embarrassing!

Chasen has a cold, runny nose and nasty cough but no fever and his snot is clear so I haven't taken him to he Dr. although he keeps asking to go
"mom I need to go to a Dr. I have bubbles in my throat"

He spent from 2pm to 8pm running errands and visiting friends with me yesterday with big boy underwear on and only had one accident.
He goes to daycare in underwear to but usually only goes on he potty once and holds it all until nap time or until he gets home.

Thats all that is new with us!
