18 Day's Left

Had my 37 week appointment on Monday.

Nothing to report, I didn't make any progress, didn't gain any weight, BP was good and baby's heart rate was 148.

Tomorrow is my last night at work!!

The last couple of days I have been having lots of false labor pains which is unsettling because I'm just not sure Ill be able to tell when it's real and time to go. Chasen's contractions didn't hurt until they were about 2min apart.

baby is definitely "locked and loaded" he/she "dropped it like its hot"
( I need a little humor :) )
and is riding low (okay Ill stop now)
When I used to feel kicking or its butt in my ribs I now feel it right above my belly button. And have been having a lot of pressure too.

I have also been getting muscle cramps in my butt and groin and they hurt sooooooo bad. Leg cramps I can stretch out easy and make go away fast but these I can't and last night it caught me off guard and I yelled and I think Ean thought I had fallen or something.

Out of His Mouth

"Mom, I haven't seen my friends in a while"

yah? Which friends.

"the ones wif mommy's and daddy's"

"I have little boy friends. Daddy has big boy friends and you have your big mommy friends"

"Mom? Did you know animal's can't talk?"

Yes, yes I did.

"they can just look at us funny. look at kevin look at us. haaa he looks funny"

"Mom?"
yes
"does your back still hurt?"
yes honey it does
"Im not your honey dad is your honey" "you need to go to the chiropractor to help your back, and I can play wif the toys"

The other night Chasen was being naughty and not listening to us and we both were mad at him and put him in a time out.
He came out of time out hunched over, hands in fists shaking and growling saying "I'm turning into the hook (the Hulk, he had just watched it with Ean) because you make me mad, grrrrrrrr"

Chasen, tell the baby good night.
"good night poopy baby"
"I fink the baby is gonna poop in your tummy, ahhhh haaaa that would be gross"

and then he slowly stomps away hunched over like a dinosaur

36 Weeks

Had my appointment on tuesday
Chasen was very good at the appointment I was surprised!!
any way
heart beat was 147
measuring 37 weeks
total weight gain 17lbs
and I was dilated 1.5cm and 20%effaced/thinned. Which is a great start!
here's hoping I keep progressing!!!
My next apt. is Monday after I work the weekend, I'll be interested to see how far Im dilated after working?

The Dr. I saw said I might want to get induced at 39 weeks since I went fast with Chasen but I really don't want to do that. As tempting as it is I think Ill wait.
I know it will hurt less and go faster if I just wait.
and So far the weather has been perfect and my last day at work is the 19th so I really shouldn't have any problems getting to the hosp.

When my sister was down we went to build a bear and chasen got to pick out "lovies" as he calls them, for him and baby!
He picked out 2 different puppies his is 'Shappy' and the babies is puppy.
It took a little convincing to make him understand that one was for him and one was for baby.
Now he is excited for baby to come.

"mom when can we open the puppy"
" when baby comes"
tap tap on my tummy
"baby when you coming out?"

....."only baby knows"

These Two

This morning when Ean's alarm went off I rolled over so the lights wouldn't shine in my eyes and then I felt him tap me on the leg.
I was a little pissed because it's hard for me to sleep now days with this over sized basketball in front of me. What could he possibly want?!!?

He whispers "look at this"
So I heave myself into a sitting position only to see Kevin AND Chasen laying in kevin's dog bed.
Chasen with his butt in the air and face in the smelly, hair filled, dog bed.

Kevin was just laying there looking at us like uhhhhh is this for real?
His dog bed is barely big enough for him!

Kevin is a great big brother:)

so Ean picked up Chasen and put him in bed with me.
(Chasen and I don't get up at 6am. I will soon Im sure)

So later when Chasen woke up I asked him why he slept with Kevin.
"betause I heard stomping like a T-Rex"
"Kevin licked me allot"

Chasen has been waking up in the middle of the night for about 4 nights in a row now either because he had a bad dream about deer (why deer? I have no idea)
or he wakes up and asks for dad to tuck him in or read him a book.
He also really wants to sleep in our bed but the answer is usually no.
So I think that's why he settled for Kevin's bed!

I can't believe I didn't wake up though. I always wake up when he gets out of bed, his bed is really squeaky and he walks very loudly lol

Guess I was actually in a deep sleep!

A Fun Week!

Monday was the husker bowl game.
they didn't do so hot :(
But we had fun with family and friends anyway.

Tuesday Alyssa came and stayed until Thursday. We did Christmas with her
and went to the Children's Museum.


we even go to play soccer and baseball outside because it was in the 50's!!

I went out with some friends Saturday night and actually got home at 11!!
I haven't been out that late since... I don't know when!
I came home to find Chasen in bed looking like this...
Ean claims he turned his back for 15 seconds. He also drew on the wall.

Sunday afternoon we went to the NE vs IA women's basketball game

Neb. won!!! and we all enjoyed some raspberry chocolate ice cream!


Sunday also marked 36 weeks in this pregnancy!
I have an appointment on Tuesday.
all I know is that I feel uncomfortable and HUGE!!

Starting off 2012 at 35 Weeks

I worked last night but before I went to work we got ready to head to Lisbon to go out to eat but the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed so we ended up going to hardees lol

Chasen threw an hour long fit the worst one I have ever witnessed with him.
He was over tired and out of control.
We all needed a stiff drink after that but didn't have anything.

we came home and played some pitch before I had to get ready to leave.
Right before I left I made sure to give Chasen some noise makers!!




I also painted the belly to look like the New Years Eve Ball in Time Square.
It didnt really turn out like I wanted, the glitter didn't show up so I put huge globs on so you could see some of it.


The pumpkin for Chasen was definitely better!
this was 36.5 weeks with Chasen.
Im 35 weeks with this one and as big as I was at 38 weeks with Chasen.
At my appointment last week I had gained 15lbs total.
Heart Rate was 145
and baby was head down.
Not much else to report.
