I Want To Give Him A Belly Bump

Ean and I celebrated 6 years this weekend. The traditional gift this year was iron and candy. Symbolizing that the relationship is strong yet sweet!

So i got Ean a drink tub for outside to put at wolf pack park to hold his beers, the stand is made of iron and the tub/bucket made of metal has "The Caskeys" on it.

He got me some iron picture frame.

we always follow the traditional gift ideas just as something fun to do, some years we get good gifts others its a little hard and the gifts are more of aa joke....and we kinda make it a competition as who was the best or most clever:)

My mom had the kids and Joellyn took Kevin so Ean and I could go to des moines for a night away! We went to the blue Moon piano club and watched dueling pianos. One of the guys was in the Guinness book of world records twice for fastest player and the other guy could play the piano and the trumpet....at the same time!

We had a lot of fun:)

The next morning we met my mom at the cheesecake factory for lunch and to get our Boys back!:)

 I also got a tattoo that I have been wanting for a long time.
Ean once told me (back when we were dating) when I was having a bad week. that our relationship/life was like a puzzle and as long as we had each other the rest would fall into place...
Id say 6 years later there isn't much I can complain about. We are very blessed. So its my constant reminder of how sweat my hubby is and basically not to sweat the little stuff because it doesn't matter!

this is a replica of the hawkeye train that runs to the football games. There was only one seat up front and I told chasen that dash and I would be riding in the back if he wanted to sit by us he had to sit back there, but he choose to sit up front and would look back and wave at us around every turn. It was so cute. He is becoming such a big boy!!
The people running the rides had to help him on and into every ride cause i was holding dashtyn and chasen didn't seem to mind. although Im sure he would have rather had me do it he let them.

of course this all happened a couple weeks ago

Im currently on vacation as of 2pm yesterday I dropped the boys off in des moines with my mom and they will stay with her till sunday!!

I didnt waste any time, as soon as I got home at 4 Amy came and picked me up and we enjoyed some quality time on her porch with some beers and a fire, painted our nails and chatted.

It was grrrrrreat! Ean came around 8 to pick me up and hang out talking trucks and roofing with dan;)

today im folding probably 10 loads of laundry, getting my hair cut visiting kasi and her baby girl, cleaning the pool and going out to dinner with leigh!

and sat ean and I are off to des moines to celebrate 6 years of married bliss:)

Can't Keep Up

I can't keep up with the blog and our adventures, milestones and pictures!

We have been spending a lot of time outside playing and having picnics.

Dashtyn is awake a lot more now days and wanting to play with his big brother and get frustrated that he can't reach everything he wants.

I hate to tell him its only gonna get worse cause as soon as he is moving around im sure big bro will take his stuff.

The other morning I had tried everything, fed him, fresh diaper and clothes as he drools constantly. I tried playing with him, pacifier, teething gel, everything.

Finally I asked chasen to come over and talk to him. and that was it, all he wanted was to see his bro and play.

His favorite thing to do is to get in his stand up saucer thing and watch chasen play!

We had so much fun this past weekend. It was a short trip, we didnt leave till 6:30 on friday and got there at midnight and Chasen stayed up the entire ride telling me a story about the time he went to North America and rode a Long neck dinosaur. I asked him if it was a dream and he told me no, mom it was when I was an adult. You weren't born yet. You were with God.
Okay then :)

The boys had fun riding the school bus and thomas the train, they also had other play stations and a jumpy house, they had a petting zoo but the boys were starting to melt down so we headed home. Jordan and Ean got to ride home with marshall and chasen. and they had a screaming contest!! Britton and I rode with the sleeping baby :)
the rest of the weekend was spent in the kid pool, and grilling in the back yard catching up with our friends!
We can't wait to do it again:)
