Preschool drama has cleared!!

I guess I should know, mom's advice...no good, friends advice...RIGHT ON!!

It's okay, I know he's listening....somewhere in there he hears my voice ;)

It's the same thing with Ean.

"hey baby we should really (_____fill in the blank)"

didnt I say that like a month ago...???

So we were doing our valentines at 8 o'clock tonight...not like we didnt know about it or have it all purchased...Im just a procrastinator!

But my little Chasey signed his name 17 times!!! 

 he got really good at it too, and is now able to spell his name not just recognize it

"mom, I have so many buds at school to give these too!"

Tough On The Heart

This mom business is not for the weak of heart.
Or maybe it's that becoming a mom makes your heart so vulnerable.

Chasen has been talking since the fist month or so of preschool about his best bud Jayden and sam and matt are buds and alivia and lucy are buds and everyone has a bud and you can only have one bud.
And Ean and I have told him multiple times, "you can have more then one friend" But he doesn't like that idea. So, Jayden it is.
 We have went to Jayden's house for a play date and yesterday got to have him to our house for a play date, which went great!! we brought the goats inside and Dash and Bryce(who is almost 2) had fun playing together as well!

well, today when I picked Chasen up from preschool, the teacher said, Chasen had a rough day....Jayden had a new 'bud'.
So I asked Chasen what was up and he said that Lucy had a spider-man umbrella and Jayden had a Spider-man umbrella so they were buds.
"mom I need a spider-man umbrella"
Hunny we aren't getting a spider man umbrella, Im sure Jayden is still your friend.

No hes not you can only have one bud. And Jayden ate snack at the blue table and I ate at the red table. and he sat by lucy.

well, did you play with him?

yes, a little. I followed him and lucy around.

well, why dont you play with sam next time.

because he has a bud. Im gonna have Jayden over and talk to him about Lucy. He can't be her bud anymore.

ugh!!
Its so rough. I dont want him telling other kids who they can and can't be friends with...... he's not a bully.
But I also understand his feelings are hurt :(
Why dont they make a hand book for this stuff. I didnt know what to tell him.

I told him...
Im sorry your feelings are hurt. But first of all you will not tell anyone who they can and cant be friends with because that's not nice. Do you like lucy.
"Yes"
well then you, jayden and lucy can be friends. Do you know how many friends I have?! (and I rattled off atleast 7!)
and he said, well, I only want one bud
*sigh*
well, Jayden may not like it if you tell him not to be friends with Lucy.
But Ill always be your friend.
"no you're not!"
yes, I am. Me and dad are your friends no matter what.
"and the one that starts with a little d?"
Dashtyn?
"yah"
yes, he is your most best friend in the whole wide world for life!! :)

they melt, warm, and hurt my heart all at the same time.....
what will I do when he asks his crush to homecoming and she says no..... HELP ME!!!! :)

First Year Stats

22lbs 9oz 50 percentile

32 inches 97 percentile----woah some's gonna be a ballar!! ;)

He is really walking good now and sometimes almost running

his climbing skills are amazing, and amazingly annoying!!

 But he is just so cute!!

He roars when he sees any animal

he isn't talking much, babbling a lot and pointing at everything.

He understands most of what we say and can follow commands

Dash go get the cow, ball, baby, goat..those are the ones he knows really well

he knows where his belly and nose are

He likes to dance and loves if you sing along

Still a clapping fool!!!

He loves his mama

and is attached to his dada, always reaching out for him

He recently grabbed a blanket and a lovie and walked over to Ean and climbed in his lap!

I was jealous, why didn't he pick me :) ;)

no matter how many toys him and Chasen will fight over the one Chasen has.

He just wants what Chasen has!

But he loves his brother and hugs him frequently!

Cold Days & Warmer Days

So Chasen started using the 'B' word

Mom, Im board, do you know what that means??!!

so one  we made cloud dough, flour and baby oil.

It's pretty cool. Chasen pretended to bake with it!

and dash wanted to eat it.

It's nice that Chasen likes to vacuum because he can help with clean up!

on a different morning while dash was sleeping we made colored shaving cream and wrote letters in it

I dont think Dash gets to bored, he has fun just playing with Chasen!

Or eating...he loves to eat!

we have had a lot of baby goats this winter, 2 sets of triplets 

and I think it was about 3 weeks ago that it was warm enough to play outside, both kids had a blast!!

for the last 4 weeks someone in our house has been sick.
Me, Ean and Dash all have sinus infections going on right now, which isn't contagious but really sucks because none of us are sleep at night due to stuffy nose issues :( 

Hoping to feel better this week and let Chasen have his first friend over!!

One Year

How did the time pass so fast? 

It always does the days drag on at times and the years fly bye

but this year seemed much faster then others, maybe because I have two crazy boys now :)

We had some photo shoot time the day before Dashtyn turned one. I hadn't planned on it but we got dressed that day and were playing and he climbed up into our chair and it immediately reminded me of this picture

so i grabbed my camera and began to shoot

still my little guy.

Poor dada got sick the night before Dashty's birthday and Dashy didn't feel good either, cutting a couple teeth, fever and loose stool. We also had a blizzard!!! 

So we were all at home together all day

had cake at lunch time

 dash got a runny nose and drooled all afternoon then we opened gifts from mom & dad, and grammie

look at his shirt!!! soaked
we had to change his shirt a lot from the drool so excuse all the stripes :) 

 despite being cranky from his teeth, he was a happy One Year old!
