This past weekend we were HOME!
we haven't been home with nothing to do for a long time and we wont be anymore after this weekend..
so saturday morning we went shopping, got a 6 person tent and Ean even splurged and got the on that pops up basically on its own in one minute he said and I quote "it's worth the extra money to not have to fight with you while putting it together"
FINALLY took him 7 years to realize you can buy love and happiness ;) --it really was worth it with the kids running around...Ean put it up on his own in about 3min!
after shopping Ean and I put the kids to bed and weed whacked and pulled weeds for several hours, then we went swimming!!
it was a little cold at first
he is so stinkin' cute!
Chasen has become quite the swimmer and was able to swim with out floaties for a while because dad was there to help!

we got cleaned up from swimming ate some supper and started setting up for our camp out, which of course included marshmallows and Dashtyn just helped himslef
to several marshmallows
and he had a friend who wanted to help him eat them
I also bought some chocolate mint mallows and while I wasn't looking Dash dumped the bad and they both ate them off the ground....I picked up most of them because no one needs to eat an entire bag ;)
it was really hot and muggy but we wore long sleeves and pants some the bugs wouldn't get us
Chasen is the fire master ("Im a master at something!!?!" he says) he helped dad get wood and even threw logs on
after getting the fire going we got the tent up...can't wait until those 2 really are helpful then we can take the show on the road!
Dash and Dada played a little hide and seek

we did get to hot and had to go inside for a break from the heat and bugs for an hour before the sun went down.
Then we put dash to bed at 8 in the house in his own bed the brought him out around 10:30 when we laid Chasen to bed
We had a fan in the tent as well
we defiantly are NOT ready to camp for real but it was fun!!
of course kevin joined us, I wasn't sure if he would want to, he doesnt like being in enclosed places but he went in on his own even before ean and I did.
He also tried to climb up on chasens tiny blow up bed--he really is the best dog!
everyone slept through the night except me, I woke up when the wind blew and I thought dash was getting up, and I woke when the cat pawed at the tent and when dash cried at 5:50 to wake us all up, so we all went inside and went to bed until 7:30 :)
yah, we aren't real campers.....yet!
