Last Week

we had a lot of important birthdays Alyssa turned 25, Garin turned 7
and Jackson turned 19!

thursday we went to a Lady Hawkeye basketball game! it was the ACC tournament and the hawks came back after half time from a 12pt deficit! It was a good game!

we met Herkey and Dash filled his cheeks with hot dogs 

and ice cream was a big hit! 

friday we went to north english and on saturday morning we went with Garin to see Santa

  chasen was nervous but was sure to ask for ninja turtle leggos

 dashtyn did NOT like santa and screamed so I held him for a picture

and so did Garin

 after we went to Grammies to wrestle and ride on toys 

and Sing Happy Birthday to Garin!

 then resumed wrestling

That night we went to an 85th bday party for Mary Louise!

 wallflowers 

 until the band started then they had harmonicas to play

and they danced 

 2 cousins and their buddies/pappy's

 Ean was out hunting the whole day with his uncles, cousins & brother inlaw

and he shot 3 deer! We got to go visit and Chasen was not phased by his dad skinning a deer and all the other dead deer. I on the other hand was totally mortified!! 

not like gross making me gag...it was like a horror movie!!

Im not against hunting....it is just defiantly not for me

but Im looking forward to some deer salami!

It was a black Friday for the Cornhuskers

So when ean got back around 8am from shopping we went tailgating at some bars in downtown lincoln

first stop was for some bloody marys

then to the Embassy suites for 32oz beers

then it was off to the game we grabbed a runza and a philly cheese steak on our way in

well I believe this has started a rivalry ......or at least I know Huskers are out for blood!!!

Thanksgiving

we left our house Thursday morning for north english.

we were supposed to leave Wednesday night but chasen had a fever of 101.6 Tuesday night a mere 4 hours after his 5yr check up at the Dr where his temp. was 97.8

so we waited and he woke up Thanksgiving morning and told me "mom I wished to God over and over to send my sick away, and it worked!"

we got to Grammies around 9 and headed over to great grandmas shortly after to help and play with cousins!

shortly before noon Dash (i think) got tried hungry and overwhelmed and wouldnt stop crying and just wanted dada so Ean had to sit in the living room and watch us all eat then I warmed up his thanksgiving plate in the microwave :)
I think my little boy is to used to just us and being at home with me everyday that all the people is to much for him sometimes because he did the same thing in nebraska when he woke up at 9pm on the couch and cried till he almost puked because he didnt know where he was and my mom and aunt had to drive around the block with him until he calmed down!
Poor buddy, he better get over it quick because we will be on the road with strange family all month! :)

we left north english around 5:30 and headed to my uncles house where we basically ate some pie and went to bed to wake up early and tailgate! But that is its own post! Ean and my mom got up at 5am to go to menards and get a battery 2 seater car for the boys and to target for patio furniture! you see, in nebraska you only get a few hours of shopping before football!!!!!

After the game we went to my dads for a great Thanksgiving dinner

and celebrated Alyssa and Jacksons25th and 19th birthdayss which are on the 4th and 8th of december.

Ean was so thankful to Grandma Jan for the ticktes to an amazing game....we all wanted to ring his neck ;) 

actually Ean was kind and didnt rub it in like I would have :)

we left my dads around 7 as dash was starting to get cranky and swappy (hitting) 

and stayed another night at my uncles.

we were all pretty tired and just watched basketball and played dice i tried to go to bed at 8 but shortly after that was when dash woke up and started his freak out!

dash sat with his blanket and played the piano a lot :)

Saturday we did some shopping with my grandma

then we got everything packed up and my mom took the boys to her house while Ean and I went to Catching Fire and dinnner at buzzard billys after and beers at brewskyies after dinner to watch some NE volleyball

it was when I got out of the movie that I overheard in the womens restroom that Auburn had upset Alabama & I was regretting our date night...I would have much rather watched that game but at the time wasn't even thinking about it!! Good thing they show it on the highlights about 10 times:)
