we celebrated Easter with my family on palm sunday
we did the egg hung sat afternoon after the game because it was going to hail and rain on sunday...and it did!

we had gotten back saturday night at 9 from chicago and were up at 7 for easter baskets and church before heading to north english
chasen got a new swim suit some candy a slinky and book marks..he has been wanting book marks!

after lunch we had a easter egg hunt
dash was going to town getting most of the eggs, Nile grabbed some too but then Dash got distracted by some sticks and Nile just picked up Dashtyn's bucket of eggs :) hehehe that's the way to do it!
over in the back yard Chasen and Garin were fighting over their eggs!
Then we went out to Garin's to see his baby lambs and kittens
they climbed in this tree for an hour or more
and dash and Garin lounged for about 10 min...a record Id say!
Last weekend (the 12th) we went to nebraska for the spring game and to celebrate birthday and Easter!
It was Dashtyn's first time in memorial stadium he was very serious :)

I went to my first hawkeye spring game last year and was surprised it was free (husker spring game is $10) and not even half full.
right before this picture chasen was acting like he was conducting the band!

at half time all kids (with adults) can come down on the field to recite the drug fee pledge!

it left a lasting impression on dashtyn as he cried and cried on our way home from chicago unless we "sang" husker, power, husker power while he pumped his fist! the video is a little dark :(
I don't feel pregnant, its so weird. I have some moments that Im tired and even fewer moments where Im nauseated. which is good!
over the weekend I had some light brown spotting (old blood), which is ok, so i didn't worry about it until yesterday when there was a lot and I was having some light cramping.
so i called the nurse and she paged my Dr. who was at the hospital (delivering babies!) they called me back and said she wanted me to come in for an ultra sound. I had just picked up Chasen from school and they had just started lunch, I hadn't eaten but had a banana, packed every electronic toy, fruit snack and candy I could find to take them with me and called Ean to see if he could make it. He was an hour away but thought he could be there in time. and he was!! PRAISE THE LORD I did not want to try and do a transvaginal ultrasound alone with the boys under stressful circumstances. and i didnt want to drop them off at a friends because if it had been bad news I wouldn't have wanted to see anyone.
BUT It was not bad news all is great and we got 4 videos of baby bouncing around in there.
we have never had an ultrasound at this time only at 7wks and 20wks and at 20wks when they kick and move there arms it looks like a big thing across the screen, but we could see the whole baby and everything moving!!
It was the most amazing thing Ive ever seen :)

the videos are only 6sec. long but we got to watch forever, the lady was so nice just letting us look and she took lots of pictures too.

it's weird to me that baby is moving that much and I can't feel it yet
Ean thought it was really awesome too, but then said that it would creep him out if that was going on in his stomach! I have to agree it is a little weird, I find myself wondering what its doing in there now!
I have watched these 1,000 times
when we were done with the ultrasound they sent the images to the hospitol so my Dr could look at them and they had me go back to a room with a phone and she called me in about 15min to tell me she saw them and everything looked great, she said sometimes there can be a blood clot behind the placenta but that she didnt see anything so it could have been from my cervix or that the blood clot had dissolved already.
I have my regular appointment in a couple days on friday.
Baby's heart beat was 146. and measured right on track with the due date.
so onto the normal stuff I was gonna post before this happened
chasen is my picture taker so things are a little crooked, cropped and at a bad angle ;)
we are 12 weeks today 3 inches long, 1/2 an ounce and as big as a lime
Ive been craving avocados on sandwiches as a spread on my bagel and of course as guacamole!
peanut butter is its own food group these days
and I had a craving for fish taco's which is the most random craving ive ever had!
Dashtyn knows the baby is in my tummy but doesn't say anything about it unless I ask him,
I say dash where's baby and he points at himself and says I baby then points at my tummy and says baby. then he hits my stomach and says I hit baby. *sigh* we have a long ways to go so I hope he stops hitting!
when we were leaving the house yesterday for the ultrasound I said "dash do you want to go see our baby" and he says "uh, sure" Ive never heard him use that phrase before, Ever!
and when he saw baby on ultrasound he waved and was happy then said I hit baby : /
Im suffering from constipation so sometimes my pants fit and sometimes they don't!
