im behind again!! and need to catch up before we leave on vacation!
so the second week of july my mom cam to visit on thursday we had a water balloon fight and chasen kept them in his pants for quick access!
poor guy didnt see it coming

then light off some sparklers before watching the mt vernon fire works from the deck....we have a pretty good view of them now!

friday ean worked and chasen had a bday party in the afternoon so me mom and dash went out for lunch!
friday night mom watched the boys so Ean and I could meet up with Amy to watch Dan race!
it was my first time at the races and I can't wait to go back and take the boys too!
saturday morning chasen and I did a 5k, 4min faster then our last one!
we cleaned up and went to the parade with just chasen since dash wanted to go ride in the truck with dad to CR to drop off a trailer
when they got home we went up town to ride rides!
dash hasnt rode many rides and said he liked them but looked sick!
they had yard games and we played a game of tug of war (mom and I won vs the boys) and mini bowling
it was the boy's first time on the ferris wheel and I was a little nervous we were the first ones on which meant we stopped at every spot to wait for it to fill up!
after the first time around chasen said I want off!
but then he got used to it! and like it!
afterwards we had some dinner!

then chasen decided to do the zipline!!!

and then he did the trampoline with a successful back flip!
It was a big day for him!
we were all asleep b 8:30!
sunday it was time for gramdma to head home, but first we stopped at sutliff and saw the golden herkey!
we also go the meet the Jackson's in iowa city for a shake....my mom's best friend was driving through from chicago to nebraska just at the right time!
