Christmas at Mom's

So we left my Dad's around 3pm on Christmas Eve 

and drove to my mom's for supper and we opened gifts 

massive sized star wars characters!

then the boys set up their fort they got in uncle jaxies room so they could have a sleep over

then we got all dressed up for church.

we went to the 10pm mass at Toughy, a small town (is it even a town?) in the country by my house

it's super cute and old! 

and I got to see some friends from high school!

We got home and went to bed wondering if santa would find us again?

and he did!! he brought stockings

 with a mickey mouse snow globe

 and a dual dvd player for the car...he must know how much we travel! ;)

we were dressed and out the door by 9 and headed to Granny's!

Maxwell Christmas

We were home a couple days before heading to nebraska, my mom and jackson took chasen in their car until des moines then my mom took kevin and we headed to my dads.

We got there around 9 and the boys got to play with papa and aunt ara before bed!

We woke up in the morning and had an assortment of donuts and fruit...lots of coffee then Alyssa and i went and got dressed and came back looking the same! so we dressed Ara to be our mini us!

Ara is a lot like me and has a wardrobe consisting of jeans and t-shirt :) but we found her something!

a really big thing happened!

It hasn't happened since 2003

a significant other joined us for Christmas!!

I was the last person to bring someone to christmas and that, of course, was Ean and he has been the "new one" ever since.

that was until this year when jackson brought his girlfriend Aidan!!

Everyone else had met her but me and my family. 

She was very sweet and I have no idea what she is Doing with my brother?!! ;) just kidding!

and my boys treated her just like family .... ha! meaning they didnt behave any differently!

We got some good family photos and then ate lunch!

and it was time for the secret santa

 i went first and got a blanket that ara stole from me and then i got a step stool!

ean got tide that aunt monte stole from him

but he got a stoking cap with head phones in it 

that dashtyn tried out and really loved so i think they are his now lol

 then we opened our gifts

we played and relaxed until it was time to head to moms,

we did 3 Christmases in 2 days this time!

Seaba/Hinnah Christmas

After our Christmas at home on Saturday we headed to great grandma seabas for christmas. 

We had lunch and the boys had fun watching movies with all their cousins.

After a while we got out the 200 sugar cookies Tammi brought and frosted and decorated them!

Dashtyn made a huge mess with the sprinkles and just ate them!

We ate a huge supper and then Opened gifts

Dashtyn  went up to Samantha and said hey I like your ladies, lets make um dance!

It was hilarious and she wasn't so sure about it

we stayed up pretty late drinking the liquor great grandpa always had tucked away in a suitcase :)

BV and coke for most of us an some flavored Bourbon

we walked over to grammys around 11:30

for a sleepover on Grammys floor with 7 other cousins

my boys loved it!

that morning (Sunday) we headed to dave and sue's for the Hinnah Christmas 

(3 christmas' in 3 days!!!)

it's grandma seaba's siblings and their kids and their kids kids...about 40+ People. Its always fun to see cousins we don't see through out the year.

everyone brings a $5 male or female gift and we draw numbers and exchange

Ean left dash and nile to watch a movie an they ended up jumping on the bed!

my mom and brother met us out there and came to our house to hang out until Tuesday!

during those 3 days dash and i went to a Christmas party complete with santa and he handed out sleigh bells to the kids

Dashtyn (bottom left) kept his eye on him the whole time!

and my mom brother ean an chasen went to see the hobbit we met up with them to ride the carousel.

 and we had a nice dinner with those pop open gift things
