Oh dear god,
So I was curious how far daycare was from my house....so i pressed that button on the car and off I went.
When I got to the driveway I looked and it said 13 miles...
13 MILES!!!!!
my pulse was racing I was sweating and my stomach flipped...
that's a really long way
A REALLY REALLY LONG WAY TO RUN!!!!!
how could I possibly run from my house to daycare?
from Lisbon to Solon????
when you say 13 miles it doesn't seem so bad but when you say run to daycare...it sounds impossible.

Shhhhhhhhh
I can hear myself breathing
Ean had to go to CR to get his computer and asked if I/we wanted to go with him, I suggested he take Chasen so I could clean
AND HE DID!!
So now I'm sitting here posting with that dusting thingy that is a rod with a feather-like thing on the end of it....kind of like cleaning :)
So i have been running on a somewhat regular basis, I ran twice this weekend with Chasne and Kevin i have been so scared to take Chasen on a run but he loves it!! and then he falls asleep.
It is REEEEALY hard work to run with him though...that's like 35lbs I'm pushing around and up hills!! my biceps, thighs and butt hurt! OUCH!
at least when I'm running the race I can think "at lest I'm not pushing around fatty!"
speaking of the race... Ean and I are running our first 5k on Sunday...my first 5k in 2 years. I know I can do but but I'm really hoping for a decant time.

Your a Good Man...
Charlie Brown or Chasen Caskey
Ean and I have both had several people tell us that Chasen reminds them of Charlie Brown!
I never noticed it before.
I went shopping yesterday to find clothes for me and got nothing for me and a Jumperoo for Chasen. I had been wanting to buy him one ever since they put him in it at daycare. I found this one for only $25!
He loves it and I do to, its quite the babysitter:)
I have video of him in it but of course it wont upload....I'm to tired to mess with it so its off to bed for me.
I can see the resemblance...I suppose

incident report
our first "incident" one of the "big kids" (like 18mo) ran over to the baby side while the one babysitter was changing another kids diaper and decided to check out Chasen's face and mouth. He has scratches on his left cheek, forehead, and chin.
Chasen and I had a long talk about fighting back and how to throw a good punch ;)
last night was fine, but we are alone again tonight :/

we are still alive
Yes we are still here!
we have just been insanely busy with traveling and I'm exhausted...beyond exhausted and I'm so excited to sit on my porch this weekend with baby Chasey and ean and watch Kevin run around while I sip a cold bottled beer!
So we spent Easter weekend in Nebraska which was a lot of fun
and Chasen got to see great-great grandma again
we hid easter eggs twice for Ava and lily and Chasen got a toy train in his Easter basket!
This was the trip that I dove ALONE for 6 hours with Chasen, going to Neb. was okay but coming home to Iowa...not so much, he slept the first three hours then he woke up, we stopped for an hour at McDonald's, he ate, i ate, we stretched and i rubbed his back thought all was well and i put him in the car and he SCREAMED for an hour until he puked the biggest puke bubble I have EVER seen I pulled over at a the next exit because i was scared he was choking...he wasn't, so we walked around outside till he calmed down. I put him back in the car and drove 40min with my go-go-gadget-mom arm reaching all the way back to his seat to hold the pacifier in his mouth, he finally fell asleep, until we got home.
After that trip i vow to NEVER EVER travel alone again with him for that long...unless its and emergency. No trip is worth that hell.
Thursday of that week was my 25th birthday!!!
I wasn't to overly excited but wasn't disappointed either, I feel I have accomplished allot for 25 and I'm happy with the way life has turned out for me :) I was just bummed that birthdays aren't quite the PaRty that they used to be. Ean took me to Carlos o'kellys for 1/2 price margaritas and i had 2 :) Chasen came with and was flirting with our waitress ... he is such a little flirt!
Then it was the weekend again and again we went ot Nebraska!
Friday night I got to celebrate my bday at a bar in Omaha with two of my good high school friends Jessie and Laura. It was so good to see them and I PROMISE to do it more often, I left Chasen with grandma and great aunt Lisa and to my surprise he was still alive when we got home ;)
Saturday we went to the husker spring game and Chasen got a taste of Husker Nation and got "turf toes" at half time we went down on the field and he got to touch the turf!
we spent the night at Papa's and aunt Ara told me "Abby, Baby Chasey is soooo cute" She loves him, she kept trying to pick him up but he was to heavy.
Fatty is growing like a weed and I'm pretty sure he is up to 20lbs.
We left Sunday morning to head back to Iowa for great uncle gordy's visitation and funeral :(
Eans great uncle Gordy passed away, he is the one who inspired Ean to have all the fainting goats! He will be greatly missed by us all.
so now its wed. and Ean is going back ot Nebraska to do a roof and deck for a family friend and im left home alone with the monster till fir day and I'm scared Sh*tless. oh well this to shall pass I may not get any sleep but oh well.
Some tid bits on Chasen
He LOVES his dad....laughs uncontrollably when he sees him...and ean doesn't even have to do anything.
If you sit him up he can sit by himself for long periods of time even while he reaches for toys!
He can scoot on his knees/tummy in a circle but cant go forward or backwards. \
Rolls easily from stomach to back
when laying on his back he can arch his back while pushing with his feet and scoot backwards, which is a problem because then he hits his head on the walls of his crib.
He says "ba ba" and ean is convinced he is a baby genius and is asking for his bottle lol.

Chasne and I are going to go pick up the FIXED!! computer... I have to keep myself busy while E is gone.
