A christmas story: Kevin's version

Lest see where do i begin...first I rode scrunched in the car...NO Santa did not get me a new car he got me a chew toy.
Ive been layed on, wrestled, poked and prodded

put in stupid outfits and made to prance around












then i got left ALONE in the house and found an entire bag of cookies that i gleefully ate!
flash forward 8 hours and I had diarrhea on grandmas floor and puked.
Total bummer.

It feels like what you humans call a hangover.. :/

Christmas Part 2:

So after hearing about all the bad weather about to approach we decided that we should head to North E. on the 23rd instead of Christmas eve and thank god because we wouldn't wanted to be snowed in at home alone!!
So we got here around 7pm on the 23rd and have been able to stay here ever since!
It has been the weirdest Christmas so far. Not even half of the people were able to make it to grandma seabas for Christmas so it was pretty low key. And we have ate waaayyyy to much food as grandma made food for 30!! and there were 12ish of us...we did the best we could :)
There was some present opening but not the usual crazy hustle and bustle!
Had we known joellyn trista and i would have had our shopping done to do the immediate caskey family christmas, but we planned on doing it after christmas and none of us were ready!
Today we were supposed to be in Nebraska with my family christmas dinner planned for tomorrow at noon, we are thinking about leaving but most likely wont make it as it is a BLIZZARD out there with 7 foot snow drifts closing down I-80.
Old man winter really threw a wrench in our travel plans, but christmas isnt about the "day" its about the day we can all get together and who knows that may be in feburary!!

Santa found chasen on christmas morning and brought him a small travel toy, unfortunatly we were not traveling, fortunatly we got to stay in our jammies till noon


Chasen has been teething really bad and will spontaneously burst into tears and wants to cuddle lots, he has been taking 2 naps a day instead of one long one.

We are thinking about heading to nebraska tomorrow, but it sounds like wishful thinking...
off to watch silent library on MTV2....if you havent seen it your really should....HILARIOUS!!

and Ean ordered me an 11 piece bedding set!!!! and a orange IOWA shirt and flash light, which I neeed the next morning because the lights were going out, but of course it didnt have batteries.
We are curretnly in north english and hope to head to nebraska tomorrow if the blizzard quits.

sorry if I dont post much over the next few weeks but we will be GONE
Thursday we head to North English for the caskey/seaba christmas
Friday afternoon we head to columbs for the dohmen christmas
Ean and I return Sunday but Chasen gets to stay with Grandma until the 31st when Ean, Kirsten and I (and kevin) will pick up Chasen in Des Moines and head to Kansas to ring in the New Year with Britton, Jordan and Marshall!!
For the past 3 years in a row Britton, Jordan, Kirsten, Ean and I have celebrated New Years together!! This year we will add 2 boys to the party!
The next weekend Jan 9th we head back to Nebraska for the Maxwell Christmas!
Then I thik we get to land for a couple weeks!
Oh, and in between all the traveling we will celebrate (hopefully) some bowl game wins!!

Who's That BOY!??!!

I was only gone one day and he just looks so much bigger.
maybe its the fact that while eating pizza tonight we had a conversation, it didnt make much sense but I would talk, then he would talk.
It was super cute!
I was gone this past sat. for a friends bachelorette party in MN and got back this afternoon. It was a lot a fun, 6 of us in the car on the way down and 20 of us on a bus saturday nigh!! I even got to ride a mechanical bull :)
It was a much needed weekend (night) away!
