Did you know ....
that I have a peach tree?!!
cause I didn't.
until we were playing volleyball and someone hit the ball back there and I had to go get it and saw these...
and ate one..
it tasted like a peach..
im not really sure they are peaches.
but I dont know what else they would be??
except maybe plums...since these are purple??
and if they are peaches I dont know when to pick them or if we should spray them with something first?
anyone know anything about peach trees?

Cheeto-Hawk
no, not another clever football name.
its chasen with a cheeto and a Mohawk!
He is talking all the time!
mostly just one or two words at one time.
But you can teach him to say anything!!
some of his favorite things to say/ ask for are
book
riiiide (to ride in dada's truck)
ruck (truck)
caaaar
waaaer (water)
all done
duck
ebra (zebra)this one surprised me as we were reading a book tonight!
pig
puppy--this one is very clear
ohne(phone)--and he says it when it rings or vibrates
more meh meh (more milk)
aks--hawks
O O red -- go big red
dirty
muuhd
rock
un, two, ree, or, ive, six, evan, ine, ennn! he can't count but will say these numbers as you count. we make him count 1,2,3 before jumping into the pool and it usualy goes like two, two, ree!
up/down/in./out all of these are used interchangeably until he gets what he wants
I think its so cute when he whines that "I wan down" when he's already down!
he will say anyones name and repeat anything you say as best he can.
He likes to go around at daycare and name everyone!
My house is no longer quite
he is always talking, always making truck noises and animal noises and talking in his oen gibberish!
we also had these today
sometime a whole banana is just to much....but if he is really in the mood one goes down in a bite and a half lol

Sum-Sum-Summer Time!
At The Caskey's
Ean and I planned to finish our bedroom that weekend my mom came down but instead we prepared a spot for the swimming pool we took from my mom!!!(over the 4th of july) and a sand volleyball pit(eans idea) and planted 3 trees he got on sale at Lowe's.
Here are some before, after, and during photos of the pool/volleyball court project!

ean climbed all the way up there to cut down branches,i about had a heart attack!

Chasen loves it! He prefers to jump off the ladder over and over and over!

Happy 4th of July!
12 days later!
AND
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!
Friday Ean and I left for Nebraska to go get Chasen and to celebrate the 4th of july.
Saturday we watched Lily and Chasen play on the slip-N-slide and ate lots of food!
then we went to Jackson's baseball game. They almost won :(
Sunday we celebrated the 4th of July at my mom's house.
It was rainy in the morning so Lily and I made festive cookies!
Then around 4pm the rain cleared and we were able to play outside and light off fire works.
Chasen stayed awake for a few of them and he really like them and would point and say OOOOOO!
We also took down my mom's pool to transport it to our house!! (more on that in

We got to see The Zuccarelli's in Omaha over the 4th of July!
