A Christmas Party

Last night was Chasen's Christmas party at Nanny and Papa's.
We ate dinner, had a cookie & gift exchange & ate lots of food!
Nanny and Papa get the kids gifts and Chasen got a book, truck, trains, a dry erase board with dry erase crayons and a puzzle!
They are so good to him!

we had two major milestones last night
Chasen sang Jingle Bells with everyone and didn't just move his mouth

and I made a 7 layer salad and everyone really liked it!! It was all gone:)
This is big for me cause I usually bring buns, or drinks or chips.
I felt like such a grown up/ mom :)
I guess Ean had a milestone, he was almost on time ;)

The Kids Are Growing

its been so warm we let the goats out of the heated shed and they have been enjoying playing and jumping around!


and I thought Id throw in a pic of the cows, they are still around just hanging out!

and Chasen's new favorite past time is looking through the entire phone book.
He has done this several times in the past few days!

Tonight we have Chasen's Christmas party at daycare!
Lots of kids running around eating sugar cookies:)

Baby is still hanging out in it's cozy home. Constantly kickin, moving, swiming.
It even punched my bladder the other morning at work and cause me to pee my pants a little and I freaked out and thought my water had broke or was leaking.
Turns out all is well :)
Im having appointments every 2 weeks now and had one this tuesday.
I didnt gain any weight. which was a sigh of relief since I had gained a pound a week the last 2 times I went it. If kept that up Id have a 12lb baby or something crazy like that!
babies heart rate was 155 and last time it was 138 so not sure what that means as far as boy or girl predictions go!

Did Santa Come?

Chasen asks almost every day!!
On Sunday we went to see santa with my friend Brittany and her son Reis.He wasn't shy and climbed right up there but he wouldn't talk so santa said.

"yes"
Do you like Thomas
"yes"
How about race cars
"yes!"
he told Ean and I he wants a shoot gun for Christmas........ *sigh* mommy doesn't like guns and was hoping Chasen wouldn't care for them either.

Birthday's

Alyssa had her birthday on the 4th
Jackson turned 17 on the 8th
and Garin turned 5 on the 5th

Garin's party was this weekend with his preschool class and the kids had lots of fun running and running and eating cake and ice cream!

Chasen and I were in North English on Garin's actual birthday and Chasen go to go to his preschool classroom in the morning! and he loved it. and did not want to leave.
I think I might have to send him to preschool in the fall this year instead of waiting till he is 4.

Snow!

Yesterday we went outside and played in the snow!

I have a coat that fits, surprisingly!!


he was really excited about the snow.

he looked at and pointed out all the snow prints. Kevin's prints and the cat prints.
he was walking around in the snow and asked me "whats that sound" It was the snow crunching below his feet!
It was so cool to see him explore something for the first time (well not the first but the first that he remembers)
I can't wait till we get snow that we can make a snowman out of.
provided that I can bend over and roll the snow....hmmmm daddy might have to be home for that one:)


Today we cut out and painted snowflakes!
Chasen painted for a good 45min

Then we hung them on our window and will probably make some more and hang them in his room!
I like the snow, but really hate the cold weather that comes with it.
