Sledding at Papa Caskey's Christmas

Papa watched Kevin for us while we were at the Hinnah Christmas at Joellyn's

37 people and Kevin isn't a good mix :)
We went over to Papa's around 3 and had our Christmas with him!
It all started with a little sledding

 

of course Kevin had to take a ride.

 



and Dash rode his first sled

we were outside for quite a while before going in to open gifts!

Then we were home for almost 24hrs before we brought the boys back to Grammies so we could go out for NYE!

Breaking News

I interrupt your regularly scheduled Christmas post to tell you that

the fight has started

up until this point Dashtyn has only been gently wrestled, but wrestled none the less.

in this video you can see he is ready to fight back.

dash has always pulled hair but today he got slap happy and started hitting.

In Dashtyns defense he is suffering from a nasty double ear infection so he is extremely irritable

Seaba & Hinnah Christmas

So, Saturday morning we woke up and headed to North English, we went over to great grandma's house for the seaba Christmas!!

First was lunch and Chasen LOVED eating with all his cousins

Dashtyn Say's, oh my gosh these kids are outta control

I imagine Dash waving his hands saying

"hey hey if you sit and eat we can open presents"

after lunch right before opening presents we got 13 of the 14 great grandkids together for a picture. (Garin wasn't there:( )

the kids were being crazy but these two were sitting so cute on their first Christmas

but Id say this picture turned out pretty good!

 chasen drew garrett's name and he loves the hawks so,

we got him a plain white T-shirt and told him it was the hawks bowl game shirt heheheh

we also got him other hawk gear :)

playing so nice, until dash reached over and pulled his hair

 That night 7 of the great grandkids + Kevin stayed out on the floor at Grammies house

Chasen squished in the middle between Jackson and Garrett:)--he loved it!

then on sunday at noon Joellyn hosted the Hinnah Christmas with about

37 of Ean's cousins and great aunts & uncles

it was a tad bit chaotic but so great to see everyone!

 

Between Christmas'

we got home around 8 on the 26th put on our new jammies, threw everything out of the car onto the dinning room table and went to bed!

 the next 2 days were spent doing laundry for me and playing with new toys for the boys and daddy tried to do some work but when only going back to work for 2 days it was a little hard for him to get into the swing of things!

 

Chasen got a spider man web shooter for christmas and it shot silly string, he and Ean thought it was the coolest thing.....

 the rest of us did not. as we were the targets..

ok dash looks happy here!

saturday (the 29th) we were up and on our way to north english!

 

 

Dohmen Christmas

We left Dad's around 3 and went to Christmas Eve Mass with my mom in Valparaiso then we packed up the cars and headed to Columbus for the Dohmen Christmas.

chasen all dressed up from church, arriving at granny's with a roar of thunder

we went to bed kinda early and woke up to stockings from santa

then we got dressed, and opened gifts

just so cute!

 then we had lunch

and played a round of dinosaur bingo complete with prizes

Then we were off to the nursing home to celebrate with my great grandma

 5 Generations

 we got great grandma a photo book

 and chasen enjoyed pushing her even though he wouldn't hardly talk to her:)

 Then it was back to Grannys for light wars with the neighbors.

 then we sang happy birthday to Jesus  

then next day was the 26th we had amazing ribs for dinner then we headed home for a couple days before more Christmas action!!



Maxwell Christmas

Okay, Ive got lots of Christmas posts....and Im trying to catch up so, where did I leave off...

lets see, we left my moms after opening gifts and breakfast and headed to my dads for more Christmas :)

Here is Dashtyn with Papa Swede

we ate an awesome lunch and then the games began.

we had a white elephant gift exchange, my dad got all the gifts and they are numbered and you can exchange them for other peoples gifts!

my grandma did a money gift exchange where the envelopes are numbered then you draw a number and there is NO exchanging. the bill ranged from $100 to $1, Colton won the $100

and of course there was plenty of wrestling, laughter goodies and fun!
