Christmas Eve at Grandmas

we left on wednesday after Jett's 2 month check up and shots.

Our first trip as a family of 5 + kevin!! 

It went really well only stopping once

Chasen is able to give him a bottle or replace his pacifier which is so nice!

we hooked Dash up with a movie and Chasen his tablet and all was good! 

it snowed that night - only our second snow this season and dashtyn was so excited and so was I, to have a white christmas

uncle jackson and jett exchanging some morning breath and farts ;)

and some morning coffee with aunt lissy!

we had gotten mom a star wars cookbook for her birthday so we had a star wars christmas

ean helping make sausage and biscuit tie fighters for breakfast

santa brought a stocking full of candy and a magic key for us to hang on our door at home since we weren't home on christmas. you hang the key on your door when your ready for him to come!

after breakfast we opened gifts

then we had our star wars lunch!

I can't even tell you what it all was cause I know nothing of star wars!

yoda soda, e-walk forest or forest of endor  ...

then it was off to church!

then home for hoth chocolate cake and to pack up and head to Grannys!

we got there around 7, just an hour drive 

and dash snuggled right up with Lily for the night before Christmas

kevin was listening also :)

It was then off to bed because santa was coming!

Jett: 2 Months

here he is smiling at 6 weeks! 

he is changing so fast that I just dont care if I spend most of my days like this! 

Dash still likes to hold him

and Jett got to meet the van dee's and Brecken!

Grandma, Aunt Lissy and granny and grandpa came to visit and I had lots of smiles for them :)

Dashtyn ask's me "mom can you put Jett in his jungle gym so I can play with him!" 

and Dash got smiles out of him too!

he loves his brothers and looks for them when he hears them especially when chasen gets home from school and it gets louder! he just whips his head around looking for them!

He is having more awake time and sort of on a predictable schedule, but I really dont do schedules as we are always on the go its better to just have kids and babies that can roll with it! 

The only real scheduled we have is feed Jett and big kids in bed at 8!

we all went to Chasen's mini dance marathon and Jett got in on the picture booth fun!

I went out with my girlfriends that night for in ugly sweaters for margaritas!

when I got home around 11 Jett had done great with out me and I tried to be really quiet but as soon as he heard my voice he started to look for me!! even though he had just ate!

I bought this shirt after the staches or lashes party!

 

 he has grown so much from 8.3lbs to 12.1lbs

and 21 1/2" to 24 1/2" long!

He eats so well and I haven't had to supplement formula yet which is an accomplishment for me!! 

the other 2 only nursed till 3 and 4 months before i ran out and quit.

 Jett also made his first trip to nebraska and was an AWESOME traveler!

he slept for 3 - 3.5 hours before we had to stop and wake him to stretch and eat then he made it the rest of the way! He also slept so well for several days away from home. 

If he keeps this up we might take a family vacation soon!! 

Caskey Christmas!

The weekend before Christmas we went to north english to celebrate with the Caskey/Hinnah/Seaba clan!

We had brunch with Grammie on saturday

and opened those little popper things with jokes, a crown and a prize!

Saturday evening we went to uncle david's house for the Hinnah Christmas which is with great grandmas siblings, and their kids and their kids' kids.... lots of us!! 

we do a $5 adult exchange and get our own kids a gift to open.

these 3 below were having an intense conversation about school and girls!!

and somehow in the chaos these 2 fell asleep and so did cousin Nile. They must have been exhausted!

we came home sunday night and i woke up at midnight with the stomach flu and was out for a couple days since i dont get much sleep with Jett. but no one else got it and I was better in time to head to nebraska!
