6 Months

you just turned 6 months and I can't believe it!
you have been rolling from you back to belly for a couple weeks now! and then you scoot yourself backwards and somehow get into things!!! 

You dont sit up yet, which I wish you would ... just sit not scoot, Im not ready for you to be on the move!!

baby bath time!!

you ate your first foods, cereal, prunes and pears!

  reading while we got the oil changed

 you love to be outside and sleep so much better when you are! 

however, swinging is not your favorite, you dont hate it. but you dont smile.

I call it white knuckle swinging.

you hold on so tight and are rigid and grunt when i swing you high (not really high at all) like your droping from a high roller coaster. You get that from your daddy!!  

 this is your typical swinging face!! 

and this time you tucked your feet in the whole time no matter how many times i pulled them out. 

 you finally started sleeping in you own room and crib for half the night, you go to bed with dada downstairs in the swing at 8pm and get up at 11 and 2am when daddy brings you upstairs to your crib then im on duty for the 5am and 7am wake up calls.
I think your spoiled rotten and just want us to hold you every 2 hours because you dont eat very much when you get up. You defiantly have us wrapped around your finger! 

you've spent several evenings at soccer games in all kinds of weather

 

 so handsome for church

 learning how to play with the big boys, he'll be ready for squirt gun season!!

 he has been such a good trooper through track season too, he wiggles and wiggles at practice until you put him down on the track or sit with him on the track!

first hawkeye track meet

  he has started to notice kevin, he will follow with his eyes as he walks across the room 

and love to lay and look at him,

 he is entertained by the big boys and loves being where they are and steels the show during playdates :) 

at 6 months you have 1 tooth and one really close to coming in

you weigh 17.5lbs and are 27 1/2 inches long. you are my peanut!!

5 Months

great grandma and papa came to visit right after you turned 4 months and we had a good time at Sutliff and you went to your first bon fire :)

  you have finally figured out that as the 3rd baby you need to sleep wherever you are :)

 you still love to snuggle your mama and prefer to nap with me most of the time!

 you are getting stronger and can rotate yourself in a half circle on your tummy

 you love to swing

 and be outside

 he loves his brothers even when they pick on him and make him ware silly hats

 watching the animals is good entertainment 

 chasen is super helpful and even gets Jett to fall asleep sometimes!

 Now that it's nice out we can walk to the library with Dashtyns class 

all my boys!! :)

 You celebrated your first St patty's day in vegas!

 again, learning to attend many events, this time soccer

 we also celebrated you first Easter in nebraska

you just started trying REALLY hard to roll over from back to front.

You aren't sitting yet but you love to sit up and watch everyone

no Dr appointments this month so not sure what you weigh but you eat a TON and are very interested in what we are eating, your grab at everything and get upset when nothing goes in your mouth! 

we tried cereal once and will probably start giving you more soon in a couple weeks!
