Last Weekend's Update..... This week's rundown..

We had a great weekend in Kansas!

It was funny both Britton and I mentioned how weird it was that we were so grown up.
And how our time spent together has changed.
We went out to eat at buffalo wild wings, had some beers then went shopping and the 4 of us spent over an hour in a kids toy store picking out toys and books for our kids, who can't even play with the toys for a few more years, then we went home TOOK A NAP, walked to the store to get some food and drinks then sat and talked and played with Chasen and then I had 1 beer while watching the movie and Ean and Jordan had a few and fell asleep lol :)
No crazy stories from this visit....maybe in a 7 years when chasen and their baby are old enough to play alone then we can drink and play cards :)
I do like how we get to "grow old" with our friends though!!
They really are "the couple we date" ;)
Sunday morning Ean and I ran a 10K my first 10K ever and Chasen's first road race!
It was a pretty good run for both Ean and I, I ran the 6.1 miles in 1 hour 2min, my goal was 1 hour even so not to bad, I ran 4 consecutive miles at 10min mile pace so I was really happy about that!
Ean and I both got 3rd in our age group!!!
I've never won anything at a road race before so I was super excited!
I could hardly move after the race and am still sore today, but I vow to run almost everyday until the 1/2 marathon so that I don't really hurt myself.






Monday morning Chasen had his 6mo well check and here are his stats:

Weight: 21lbs 95%
Height: 27' 75%
Head: 17 3/4' 90%
He's a BIG boy!
Last night we had peas and they seemed to agree better with him then the sweet potatoes, he is also on allergy meds now which help with the cough and sleeping :)

I am loving this hot weather!! and Im excited that tomorrow is my last day of work until Tuesday!!!
I totally forgot that we are leaving for Nebraska tomorrow after work and have a TON of packing to do for hte dog, baby and of course hubby.
We are going to the Omaha Zoo on Friday with my mom and sister! it will be Chasen's first zoo experience and I know he will love it after seeing how he reacted to Britton and Jordan's dogs!
Then Sunday Chasen is going to his first birthday party, our friends daughter Alana is turning 1 and they are having an open house/bday party!
Monday Grammie Jo Jo will be down and I think mommy is going to go shopping or to the beach with Amy!
