2 weekends ago we did the warrior dash with my sister, aunt, leigh & tyler, and Liegh's sister and hubby!

we had lots of fun!!
we stayed in des moines and went out and had a good time before heading home on sunday and had birthday dinner for Ean!
and then started the longest week EVER!!!!
ean wasn't home monday till 9, tuesday at 8 I knew he was staying in illinois wed. night wit the thought he'd be home on thursday for his birthday...well things went wrong at the job and he had to stay again!! It was horrible conditions for him.
and it really sucked to be home alone that many days with the kiddos. We were sick of each other!!
So on friday when he got home we had dinner and I made home made plum pie from the plums off our tree!
and Saturday we went to the Hawkeye game, which was 3 things
1. fun
2. HOT
3. Disappointing
Sunday we spent some much needed time as a family
met up with some friends at sutliff for sutliff sunday :) and then ended up coming back to our house for a fire!
on monday Ean took half the day off and we went put put golfing for the first time!
