we had a family birthday party for chasen the weekend after his birthday!

Grandma and Grandpa Swedburg surprised us and came thursday afternoon so that night we swam at their hotel and friday morning we had breakfast in mt vernon and did some shopping! It was so cute when they got to our house dash brought great grandpa 100 books to read to him! in the evening we went out for a great dinner at granite city with Ean.

the rest of my family arrived around 10pm friday night which means we had a huge slumber party  in chasens room: mom, lisa, jackson, alyssa and chasen all slept in one ...
by choice!

saturday morning  we had a big breakfast and chasen opened some gifts!

auntie lisa got him all yellow gifts including a banana.  Chasen said ummm you dont give bananas as gifts!

we headed outside to watch and help Ean start a big fire!

David Aundi and Nile showed up a little after 11 and we started to cheer on the Hawks

Birthday boy fell asleep with college boy a little before Great grandma, Grammie, Trista and Garin showed up

we woke him up a little later for gifts and cake!

then it was time to cheer on the huskers!! Idont think jackson moved all day!

after supper and the husker win we went out to see the blaze and roast a mallow or 2
