I know we sucked it up against Oklahoma, but we have to play the Huskies??
Really?!?!
That is not a fair match up at all. We've already beat them 56-21 this season and we have to play them next year as well.
Im not saying we should have gotten a better bowl game, but at least a better team!
I got sick on Sunday and puked every 20min for about 7 hours.
I was so dehydrated that my hands, feet and face went numb.
It was awful!!! But, I lived:)
Of course Sunday night was the night that Chasen decided that he didn't want to sleep in his bed and wanted in ours.
He was up until 10pm Ean kept battling with him putting him back in. Finally, 3 cups of milk later and 2 very tired (sick) cranky parents he went to sleep.
Only to wake up at midnight. And I was so tired I just let him sleep in our bed.
He slept in his bed Mon and Tue night without any problems! Last night he fell out again :(
we got Ean's sperm analysis back and his motility is abnormal. Meaning that they don't swim fast enough or in a straight line. and thats all the nurse could tell me.
I asked her about morphology, and other questions and she said, I dont know Im really not that familiar with these tests.
I'm really sick of her calling me and not know what the hell she is talking about.
She said that they will refer us to the U of I and I asked her do i make that appointment or do you? and will I need to get a copy of my chart or will you send it over?
Her answer was, um, Im not sure let me ask Dr. Clevenger and call you back....
In some ways I can't wait to get to the University and talk with people who are more knowledgeable them me on this topic! and honestly I don't feel like Im that knowledgeable, but I know a hell of a lot more then she does.
It's just that there is so much more going on when we get to the U that the amount of information, and statistics on which tests work best is overwhelming!
and the price....oh god, we wont be going anywhere or doing anything or buying anything for a long time.
I have already been receiving bills from the Lab and the Ob office for stuff the insurance decided they wouldn't cover. They did the last time with Chasen I just forgot about it.
It's all worth it, its just extra stressful.
Im still hopeful for a "christmas miracle" but Im not as sure as I felt before.
My acupuncturist told me that her father is a male fertility specialist on the East coast and that if I brought in a copy of Ean's analysis she would go over the numbers with her dad and let me know what he finds.
She has lived in Iowa for a long time now and has helped lots of other couples and she said that she has found that in the Midwest they have different/ "higher averages" then out East. So the Dr. here in Iowa that says Ean's analysis is normal, out East it might be abnormal.
I think its really nice that she is doing that for us!
A second opinion is always good and this one is free!! (sorta)
All of this just makes me realize how much more of a miracle Chasen truly is :)
The nurse called me back and said that we are set up at the U. and that someone from their department will be calling me to set up an appointmet and they actually called me tonight and our apt. is on monday!
which leaves me with tomorrow morning to run around town and pick up all our records before work!!
Fingers crossed, eyes crossed, toes crossed...
we hope something works.
I feel like we are about to jump into an abyss...into unknown territory, like on Alice and wonderland........ at least we get to do it together!:)
