before i post about the vacation i need to catch up on last week!
my mom came down on thursday night and got to go to school with Chasen on friday while Ean and I took Dash to the hospital to get tubes put in...he did really well except for when I had to put drops in his ears he would say
"mommy mean"
"pease daddy help me"
"peaseeee chasen help me, hold my hand"
it was so sweet and sad
the rest of the weekend we played at home and painted the guest room a pretty grey with white trim!
all guests are welcome to come stay ;)
and my mom and I went along on the sunday night drive around the country looking for deer and other wild animals.
Grandma go to stay until monday when we went to the parade and celebrated kevins birthday!
we stopped at DQ for mint oreo ice cream before heading to the parade in our matching hats!

8 years ago kevin was supposed to be in the parade with the cedar valley humane society like this dog, but we came in the morning before he left and took him home :)
I thought the parade was ... ok... not a lot of floats mostly trucks and cars. I guess Im used to all the small town parades with horses and homemade floats, old cars and GOOD candy! :)
but the boys had fun!
and here is the birthday boy all decked out!
we gave him a piece of lasagna with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to him!
tuesday and wednesday we spent cleaning and packing for our vacation!!
