So this was quite the trip to plan, I will admit I planned it down to the hours in the day
all restaurants were pre-picked and reservations made in advance.
almost all tickets bought online
and because of this precise planning the trip was perfect! :)
the days were not to full but I also felt like we did everything we could do!
and Ean didn't even know we had an itinerary/master plan ;)
there was no stress, and no rushing around and no waiting in lines!
Im lucky to have a husband that will just go with the my flow!
he doesn't really like to plan things out anyway and Im happy to do it:)
SO, we left thrusday morning at 4:30 the boys slept until about 8:30 and I slept till about 7:30.
we already had doughnuts in the car so we ate those and drank our milk before taking a quick potty/change clothes break
look at them so peaceful!
its much better to travel all day with out them right next to each other!
good morning sunshine!!!

there was a lot of planning that went into the car ride as well, like a water/pee proof pad in dashtyns car seat and I made that blanket so he could wrap up in it but not throw it on the floor.
Each boy had a table/tray thing they got from granny that had colors, stickers, coloring books and markers in it and they could color on top of it. we had a cooler for drinks and string cheese/grapes and lots of snacks and parade candy! They each also had a mini backpack with cars, superheros and animals that they hadn't seen in quite some time because they were the toys i found under the couch, bed or at the bottom of the toy box! I told dashtyn his was a present and he played with it quietly until we stopped for lunch!
which was at Metropolis, superman's city. we ate the lunch buffet at pizza hut and ran around outside for a long time before I took my turn at the wheel, and all 3 boys went to sleep!
we stopped again for a potty break and that was it only 3 stops!--i almost didn't make it to the last stop!
I forgot about the time change and had to call and reschedule our reservations which worked out because not to many people eat at 7:30. this was a perfect thing for us the entire trip because at places we coudnt get reservations we didnt have to wait long since we were eating at 8pm which was really 7pm to us!
we fed the boys mac and cheese, green beans and oranges in the hotel before dinner most nights so that we didnt feel bad when they only ate french fries or queso and chips at dinner :)
thursday night we ate at the Big river rotisserie and raw bar, right on the river, it was really pretty and really good!
despite this picture the boys were absolute angels at dinner....not my kids!!! I thought after 12 hours in the car they would not want to sit and eat but they did!
we got back to our hotel around 9, watched a little basketball and were out for the night!
i wasn't sure what our view was but we could hear frogs and the breeze was cool like a summers night cool :)
In the morning I could see there was a little creek out there, so lots of frogs!
