We left wednesday after school and dropped kevin off with my mom when we got to Lincoln and then we headed 2 more hours to my grandma and grandpas
Dashtyn was getting antsy and wanted me to hold his hand but it really hurt my arm to reach that far so he asked me to hold his foot!
we left my grandmas house in the morning after donuts, coffee, picking pumpkins and playing with the puppies!
6 hours late....
6 hours late....
this was the road we took to get to the cabin and the beautiful lake that was there

The cabin was called bearadise and had bears everywhere!!
spent lots of time out here!!
it was so cozy and beautiful!
we got there around 2 and let the boys play while we relaxed on the porch
and then it was hot tub time!
the next morning, Friday, ean and I were up first and enjoyed the sun rise together on the porch
we lounged around for what felt like forever...with the time change being that we gained an hour I didnt feel rushed!
we got ready and met Ean's aunt and uncle, who live out there, at the North Pole!
The fist thing Dashtyn said to me was momma where's santa?!
I was surprised because we haven't talked about santa much

so our first stop was santa's house and chasen signed in his name
I didnt get any pictures but he was a GOOOOD santa. told great stories, and took his time talking with the kids. very convincing ;) now we can't go see the very fake looking/acting santa at the mall!!
the North Pole has snow year round!! this pole always has snow on it!
they even had santas chapel there
which i thought was cool, because 'tis what the season is all about after all!

I did get Ean to ride the Ferris wheel with me and he hated every minute of it :)
but its the tallest ferris wheel(or highest altitude) in the US

all the boys got to drive a car

and then dash and I went down the tall slide...he didnt like it and hit me when we got done lol
then we were off to drive to the top of pikes peak...dash fell asleep with his sucker wraped up in a dragon lovie...the boys usually pick out a lovie or sucker on vacation...this vacation they came together!
