Chasen's Spartan Race

Chasen ran his first spartan race last weekend

and was no happy about the head band he had to ware.

Ean ran his race first

the boys were pretty good while we waited

here is chasen at the start practicing one obstacle while the big kids ran

there were 2 heats 8-13 and chasen was in the 5yr - 8yr but thee were a lot of big kids in his race!

and here he is at the actual start of his race

it was a half mile loop

the first few obstacles were walls to jump over then nets to climb under

then they went out a little ways and we could see what they did but chasen said then crawled under electric wire!! :) Im sure it wasn't electric!

then they came over this wall below

ran up a hill then on to the muddy hills!!

after this he tried to swim! but quickly realized he just had to walk

there were 4 mud hills to climb up and slide down

after this they ran up a long hill threw some tires and then the rope wall

I ended up giving him a little boost to help him up

and over he went!

he did such a good job!!

It was so cool that they did this for the kids..it was $25 but you could do it as many times as you wanted after the first 2 heats. we had to leave to go get kevin.....but next time maybe!

uhhhh my shoes are full of mud!!!

dad got the pleasure of hosing him off!

then we were standing around watching other people do obstacles and go to look for chasen and he is climbing the adult all.

They had a few obstacles not on the course that people could try out...

apparently chasen wanted to give it a try

Ean helped him over the other side!

and this little guy finally fell asleep as we were leaving

and here is the spartan in all his glory!!

"I came, I ran, I conquered"

and here is his video!
